I think this is pretty much the root of the entire problem. You can't have a setting as spicy as Hell with characters like Lucifer himself and fucking Adam as main characters and half ass it. It just looks like pussy shit. Like why bother if you're not going to go the full mile?

She doesn't want to include God himself because it'd be too "Real" ? Well, that's entirely the problem. It just feels weird and incomplete. Like, okay I can see not wanting to include Jesus or God directly. Infact you could probably get around it by only mentioning them and having some other angel carry out his will like Michael the archangel or something. But Vivz inability to commit to the bit is entirely the issue.

Honestly this all just being a front for gay fanfiction makes total sense when you realize it's all just set dressing. We have these biblical characters, the show takes place in hell but none of it matters. It's all just set dressing. A thin veil to hide the real focus here and that's the faggots and daddy issues. Gotta have those daddy issues. You should always remind everyone that daddy issues are the only conflict you know how to write... every fucking minute of the day. Gotta get that out there.

I got a good laugh out of this furry with a synth fursona self insert skewering the show's mistakes. I got a bigger laugh out of how the intro was a 1:1 copy of My Little Pony's intro.

Some songs sound too similar to one another, and it may be intentional, but anytime I sing a specific song (Like "More than anything") I may accidentally sing the wrong verse from a song similar in tune.

Loser, Baby is the only one that doesn't necessarily follow that formula.

Fast forwarded through every song in Helluva with Youtube's 2x speed option, then had the misfortune of putting a tad too much effort in Hazbin by skipping every 20 seconds or so, as Amazon's video player was programmed by gypsy shoemakers.

Couldn't be assed to look back and listen to any tracks, Poison probably being the most realistic addition to my Winamp playlist should the planets align. Though, whatever Beelzebub's song was, I knew I'd never want to hear that again. Not even at 2x speed.

I haven’t watched Helluva Boss. The idea of Viv being unrestrained by Amazon and A24 is…not pleasant. That being said, I have seen this song on YouTube and holy shit it was awful. A complete waste of Kesha, plus the character seemed like a complete airhead. Your writing speaks volumes when you have a character meeting someone for the first time and declaring that they have a ‘rainbow in their vagina’.

This doesn't justify anything, but if you mean the singing voice in that episode, that wasn't Kesha. Kesha only voiced Beelzebub when speaking. The singing voice for "Cotton Candy" was some other chick who was hired to sound like Kesha (something something record company contract forbidding Kesha using her singing voice). Whole thing is kind of bizarre and pathetic.

Helluva and Hazbin are stagnating like Sly Cooper, the extremely short-lived fanbase of Silverwing when it had an animated series, Sons of Butcher and Loonatics Unleashed (Yes, that had a fanbase).

Helluva had better continue so we can shit on it some more, 'cause I've just been autistically looking at screenshots here and there every other day or so. Spotting the differences in art styles between scenes.

Yeah, that episode was not worth the wait. Interesting fact: Viv helped Kesha write the lyrics so....that explains why it's shit. Kesha has written party songs that have a deeper meaning to them. And on top of that, she doesn't even get to sing the damn song! Monster Ball should have been the song that Beezlebub sung. Speaking of a party song that has a deeper meaning...

I've only watched Ayy Lmao, and honestly I stopped watching because he doesn't seem to be a supporter of Viv, more of a dick rider. Back during the LackaDaisy fundraiser, Ayy Lmao completely ignored the fact that Viv used her SpindleHorse account to donate the $25k rather than a personal account, just to get her production tag attached to it.
After that he only really covered low hanging fruit when it came to criticism of Viv. Mostly stuff like "why do people hate Viv's style" with his answer usually being "they just need something to hate with Vivienne" rather than the legit reasons of every silhouette being the nearly the same.

I have to invest a little too much time in that. Although, there have been a surprisingly decent amount of films this past decade (Nefarious, Play Dead, Significant Other, Terrifier 2, Deadstream, Watcher, Mad God, Monsters of Man, Vicious Fun, Rent-A-Pal, Unhinged, Anything for Jackson, The Invisible Man, Spree, Underwater, Funhouse).

Yes, they're all horror or horror related. Ironically one of the worst genres of film seems to be thriving well nowadays. Likely because anything above average is considered a good horror.
