I enjoyed it for what it was but I feel the troon voice actor is flat, fine for the short segment they appeared in the harvest moon segment but lacking in longer speaking parts.

I mean as I posted Vivziepop didn’t even write the damn episode. It was Sallie’s VA who wrote it.It wasnt bad other than sallie's bad VA but i wont praise it for doing the bare minimum. It felt like a shitty attempt to give millie focus for once except it obviously falls flat because it's sallie who is the real core of the conflict, one easily solved. On one hand, people gonna like how there is no drama for once, but it doesnt feel honest to me. It feels like vivzie was too coward to have the token trans character be sad so you get this hecking wholesome showcase of support and none of their their alleged "rivalry".
Also, this show did not need another character with family insecurity issues...

Cause if Vivzie wrote it, it would be all about Moxxie proving himself to Millie’s family or something
I'm glad Millie got some sort of spotlight but god damn someone else had to do it for her.It felt like a shitty attempt to give millie focus for once except it obviously falls flat because it's sallie who is the real core of the conflict, one easily solved.
Its because as someone pointed out earlier, Moxxie and Millie's entire dynamic is just based off tumblr shipping archetypes.I’m not sure why Viv and others have such a difficult time characterizing Millie. They try to hype her up as the badass wife of Moxxie but she’s just so…flat. I liked the short alright yet I feel like there’s so much still missing to her personality.
The conflict itself doesn't even make much sense. Sally Mae mentions that she has been running the farm solo when Millie left, and I'm just like "wow, way to show how highly you think of your family". Where was this shown in the Harven Moon episode? Maybe if Sally Mae got more screentime then, we could SEE that, but it appeared to me that the whole family was doing their part. The parents even hired extra help, so why does Sally think that she has all this added responsibility? Millie even mentions this to her in the exact same short! It wasnt bad other than sallie's bad VA but i wont praise it for doing the bare minimum. I was thinking about a redeem quality about Angel Dust regarding his criminal family's past, one would have been that he wasn't too much involved or he was forced to do the dirty work, then I completely give up the moment I realized his backstory is the same thing as Moxie. They both have:Have you SEEN the actions they've committed?
It took only five minutes of thinking about that to completely change my feelings around Angel Dust and how we're suppose to feel for him. Nah, he's in hell for a reason. It's so funny how we only get mere references of him being in the mafia (accent and him using tommy guns) instead of getting any actual development regarding the kind of things he probably got away with doing back on Earth.![]()

- Mafia family
- Shitty dad, (and said Angel's dad is probably homophobic too), Absen/Dead mom.
- Both of them escaped their family in some ways.
- Both don't mention their past to their colleagues and friends.
- If at some points angel's past is revealed with his dad, the plot would probably be the same as in helluva boss ("angel meet his dad out of nowhere")
The only difference with those two is angel has siblings and is a porn star... That's it, the creativity is really low.

You already have the conflict of two siblings who miss each other's company because of one them moving away, and it's hard to visit one another because life gets in the way. Why add another unnecessary layer to it all that was never even show before? It makes no sense. NONE OF THIS MAKES ANY GODDAMN SENSE.
I believe It really all stems from Viv being a huge Yaoifag. She wants Moxie to be the effeminate sub in these gay relationships, but somehow wrote herself into a corner by having him be married to Millie. Worse, its the one relationship that people actually almost universally like in her gay fantasy drama.btw it's starting to hit me that every "Millie centric episode" isnt really about her, it's about the one or two people related to her being insecure and millie reassuring them. She is more of a narrative device than a character.
Christ, this is a lot to take in. I got a lot to say about the trailer. Not gonna lie, I'm excited but I know there's gonna be some merit of disappointment. But we won't know until the episode releases next month.
Also the Stolitz duet from Full Moon got leaked and, yes, it really is that bad. Warning for shrieking fangirls.
