I honestly think that Erica just decided to leave. Other people have been saying it but I'll still toss my 2 cents in. With her fiance dying she obviously had to take some time away for herself and that's okay, my sympathy to her. But I just think it's weird after the normal grieving period she still hadn't come back. Yet, she still did voice work for other projects like Smiling Friends (the assistant in the Mr. Frog episode). I think that she was able to use her time grieving as a perfect excuse to get away from Viv and her bullshit without starting anything. Smart play if this is the case. If somehow Erica manages to see this, hope you're doing well and good luck in the future.

No male character in HH was sidelined as hard as Loona. Even ignoring the voice actor conspiracy, can you imagine Vivzie ever making 3 episodes in a row without Alastor? Or a hazbin episode where it's only Charlie hanging out with this lesbian couple and this new female villain and no male characters or other protagonists?

And now a question for the thread: Using the power of hindsight, did vivzie suceed at making Hazbin "female focused" as much as helluva boss is "male focused"?

On one side hazbin sure has women actually being relevant and having drama with other women (this doesnt exist in Helluva boss). On the other hand, many of the episodes are carried by male characters. Adam is the main villain, Vox and Valentino are the side villains, Angel is the sad sinner, Husk is only person who actually made a sinner a better person, Pentius was the one who went to heaven, Alastor is vivzie's favourite and Lucifer is the one who saves the day. All those male characters are also connected to each other in some way.

(and yeah, i know not being as bad/extreme as heluva boss is a good thing).

Viv honestly gave equal focus regardless of gender for Hazbin so it's not really female focused. Helluva Boss is extremely focused on the dudes with Millie, Loona, and Octavia just being props for Moxxie, Blitzo, and Stolas while the other female characters are stupid, shallow, or evil. The only exception is Verosika (for now) since who knows if she'll become some over the top soap opera villain like Stella.

If you think I’m defending Loona being sidelined, you’re mistaken. I’m just regurgitating Viv’s “male-focused” excuse and explaining that the Erica rumors have been debunked.

This show has seriously put me off writing my own dark religious setting entirely. Especially considering the type of "never read the bible a day in my life" zoomer idiots latch onto anything vaguely edgy and condescending towards Catholicism. Makes me sad, but if I ever get back to writing I at least know what NOT to do as a writer. Hazbin Hotel and Helluva Boss are good at one thing: Being a bad example.
