Oh well TADC is better, it has a better balance of its tone and knows when to be serious, when to be silly, and when to be dramatic.
Unlike Helluva Boss where you have a goofy ghost episode, and while some of the drama works like Millie's backstory and Blitzo's mom, it doesn't work when its more about "Woe is me, I miss Stolas"

Seeing people online say Millie calling loona by her name instead of mutt is peak cinema and character development keeps hitting me how low the standards of this fandom is.
Millie just keeps getting fucked. You can't even have "the millie episode" without bringing up Blitzo's multiple layers of angst (stolas, friends, mommy issues etc).
I also find the "reveal" that Millie is actually Blitzo's best friend a weird angle to take cause it comes out of nowhere. Ask anyone a day ago who is blitzo's best friend and most people would say he doesn't have one and definitely not millie lol.

Because we don't see any of that development coming on screen, so when it happens it comes out of nowhere. You could say that during the month after the Full Moon, Millie got better acquainted with Loona and is now seeing her more as an equal, but that's all speculation. You can't just say that because time has passed that means a character has grown as well. Especially if there was nothing to build to that supposed growth in the first place.

It's also a bit ironic cause it makes Millie less interesting in a way, since her being racist to loona is one of her unique unique traits she had.
It's like the writers want Millie to have "depth" but they refuse to give her any real drama so they're pushing her as this "ambiguously supportive gal". Moxie, Sallie May, blitzo etc. It seems like every dynamic she has is "character is venting and Millie helps them feel better".

Oh so NOW Loona kicking Blitzo's nuts is played for drama after being played for laughs...

Everything is funny until you’re told it’s serious. It makes me wonder when that stupid scene in the Spring Break episode is going to be brought up as this super cereal and traumatic event 2-3 seasons later. Then again, it happened to Moxxie so, the likelihood of that actually happening is low, also Verosika is Pro-Stolas, so I think she’s immune to criticism for the time being.
We should also remember that, everyone in this show isn’t actually real, so there’s no need to get too invested with how evil they are or treat one another. Also, when you think about it, they’re only doing bad things to bad people so you shouldn’t care if Loona assaults the one person she should think she owes everything to. (Unironically, this is Viv’s and company’s response to people that hate Valentino on that stupid livestream. Makes you wonder why anyone should hate Adam then, because by that logic, he’s only murdering evil people so, what’s the issue?)
These people cannot write and it shows.

I know this is so nitpicky of me, but I hate that Loona's eye was going over her hair this entire episode. I understand why it's done on a technical level (makes the whole coloring process and compositing easier when both eyes are on the same layer), but it doesn't make it anymore less distracting. If the hair was just slightly over the eye it would be okay but, it's almost covering the entire eye. I shouldn't be seeing the eye this much. And this isn't the only scene this happens in either.
And I know that this isn't some stylistic choice as well because in season 1 where her hair goes over her eye...they actually animate it going over her eye. Is this what happens when you start outsourcing to cheaper studios? I don't know, because they apparently manage to do Octavia's hair correctly here.
Speaking of Octavia, they really shrunk her down here. She looks to be almost the same size as Blitzø here when she normally isn't.

My point exactly. They should have just given Adam a minigun that shoots holy bullets, a backstab protection that would raise spikes and stab anyone attemption to do that to him, and simply raise heaven (heh) in hell. Make Craplastor (and Stolas, even if he's not from the same show) beg for mercy before being stomped repeatedly. "CRY SOME MORE, TINY PRICKED BITCHES! DADDY'S HERE AND BACK WITH A VENGEANCE!"
As for the point with Loona: why does she have a free range to make jabs at others (even if Blitzo is an asshole, granted) without repercussions?
Example:
L: "Damn, dude - like, you should totally forgive your father even if he's fucking that asshole Blitz-"
O: "Fuck you, you don't you see how shitty my life is? My mother is trying her best to raise me correctly, and you tell me I should forgive me father and that imp that you hate? Go fuck yourself, Loona", and she hits her in the face.
Why doesn't Loona get someone to hit her in the fucking face or something? Like damn, wow. It's just a cartoon, that's why I don't get too worked up.
Yet the logic is very flimsy. It seems CERTAIN women are hated unconditionally by Vivianne and her team, same as SOME men. Go figure.

How is production this leaky? Between the leaks with the HB Story Boards, alleged story leaks, and now these, I have to think that someone despises the show, the crew and Viv in general, or some ex-employee is extremely jilted. There has to be a way to know who did this from an internal standpoint, because this crap should not be allowed. The first song is not something you use to tease the next season, especially if Rosie is Lilith as DoA mentioned.

But this is interesting... both songs surprisingly go hard, too. I wasn't into any of the songs from the first season so seeing the massive whiplash in quality surprised me. Still not feeling hopeful for the second season, though. But it's something to look after.
The vocal work from Sera on the second leak, though. She didn't have to hit so good on 1:24!
But another thing I noticed... I wonder who this character is. I immediately thought of a Goetia and went, "Is this just the Heaven version of a Goatia or something? The similarities are WAY too obvious."
Did they even try with this?? It's literally just the goody-two-shoes version of a Goatia!
