So, no one deserves to be in hell, because likely something in their sad past made them do their actions, because if that‘s not the case, things like accountability, moral standards, clear, objective lines between good and evil do in fact exist. If those exist, then redemption is not possible in hell, because everyone is right, and they had their shot in life and chose Evil, by rejecting Good, and if that’s the case, the hotel is doomed to fail because all their clients are evil, and it’s not that they can’t change, it’s that they won’t.I was curious how vivzie would have Sera handle the extermination but it seems she fucking isn't.
"Now i'm faced with the truth" means vivzie will play Sera as a victim who had no clue and all blame will be shifted to a newly introduced villain.

Good lord, he's a twink. I shouldn't be surprised this is Sir Pentious' human form. At least he's fairly sized and not a literal twig. That's one heck of a hair to have in the 1800s, though.
Looks like the fan arts really wasn't that off from how he might look. His human form isn't as offputting as I imagined it'd be. He's not (twig) skinny, so I guess I'll give them that. But yeesh, does this women need some more varying types than long and lanky.

...yeah this is the whole situation with Emily again. I'm pretty sure 98.99% of the sinners who are in Hell are there for a reason. They're not poor, misunderstood souls. Plus, no one seems to regret their actions at all. Everyone's literally indulging in their worst desires in the show. In fact, the justice's incredibly justified. The show showed us countless times that a good majority of the sinners in Hell aren't wanting to change their ways any time soon. Does Viv even double check the messages she tries to portray?

Could they not get any more generic with the genres they choose when they sing about Heaven? Good lord, man. This sounds like something I'd hear unironically play at a megachurch during Sunday School rather than from an apparent adult show. Maybe that's the point of the soundtrack, to illusion of this happy-go-lucky viewing of Heaven. Either way, it's boring. No gospel choirs? No organs playing in the background? No Gregorian chants? ISN'T THIS SHOW SUPPOSED TO BE THEMED AROUND CHRISTIANITY? OR SOMETHING??
I'm being incredibly nitpicky, forgive me.
This also adds to the question of when a soul dies and goes to Heaven. Is it also determined by how they died? Or would it be more in terms of what good they did? What did they like? What personally interested them that Heaven would end up granting them? Maybe that would add an interesting contrast compared to how a soul goes to hell.
But I know this'll never be explained via the show and rather on some deprecated Vivzie stream or something and there'll never be an explanation why everyone in Heaven is some form of furry. Seriously, everyone looks more like OCs implemented into the show than actual people who died and got new appearances (knowing that a lot of crowds in HB are just artists and writer's OCs, I can see this being very possible). Ugh.
But I do admit, I did get a bit of a chuckle at 1:02 when they said, "And no one's addicted to crack!".
I do like Sir Pentious immediately didn't want to stay in Heaven and wished to return to hell. I knew he would be too used around his friends to be in an entirely different place. He looks miserable by the end. That does beg the question if there are other "winners" like him, though. I can imagine some of them might get annoyed by the overly positive yapping and generic theme songing of everything.
Wait, so Alastor died the day after he made the deal? Are you sure this wasn't a major coincidence? Did she plan to have him killed as soon as possible? Was it just the worst case of bad timing ever? It's interesting yet infuriating to understand, especially since this is all that we got from this scene thus far.
edit: I just realized he spoke some French in the first few seconds of the clip. But that begs the question... is it just French or Creole French? I'm assuming French cause I doubt Vivzie did her research on Creolean culture and their languages.
Also, now that I realize, for a dude from the 1930s, he sure doesn't give off someone from the 1930s. Plus, what was that dialogue? That felt so cartoony. It didn't feel like a natural demand for more power.

His voice actor is either middle-eastern Arab or very tanned, and they're not allowed to have cartoon characters voiced by someone of a different ethnicity than the character.
