I don't even like Hazbin Hotel but I'm somewhat happy for it. 'Somewhat', because her show didn't interest me with all the clusterfuck going on and the writing is bad, and Smiling Friends and other pilots are still left behind or their fate's unknown. Even then, I don't think we should cheer just yet until it lands on a network, I wouldn't be surprised if something fucks up along the way there. A lot of people get screwed over by seeing the big bucks first than reading the fine print. It's A24 but still being cautious works a long way.

A24 picked up a bunch of hour long specials for lefty political podcasts on HBO. Say what you will about them as a company, but they’re clearly friendly with the indie little guy.

It's not one of those batshit hate blogs, the mod calls it a "receipt blog" and even mentions kiwifarms as one of the places it wants to exist for.

Stardust is the new Chris-chan and Vivzie is the new YandereDev, Hazbin ep 2 is just the osana update. She's got a production company interested in working with her, but she's already bailed on a publishing deal for her web comic so I still won't believe it will exist until it does exist. Until that happens, I'm not going to hold my breath. But if there's a Star-chan thread at some point I have stories to tell.

I dunno, a lot of these posts kind of reek of petty mean girl behavior. Plus it’s kind of dumb to say she’ll bail on this when it’s the project she’s the most invested in.
And you’re biggest mistakes is thinking we don’t know her less cool personality traits; shockingly, we’re capable of separating the art from the artist.

Went evil in the last season because she was under the sway of a evil ghost and had unresolved issues due to being the legitimate child of mother gothel, the movie’s villain, who was abandoned when said villain kidnapped Rapunzel as a baby. They’re pulling that gay stuff right out of their ass.

We’re not a personal army to go after people. If you think they deserve a thread, you’re more than welcome to post one in Proving Grounds and see if it gets approved.

I dunno; hearing the background on how Hazbin got off the ground and the progress she managed to make with the spin off, I think this is a better bet than YandereDev. Viv even has some experience in mainstream animation so it’s not like she would unprepared with the TV world. That being said, I’m being extremely optimistic about all this so there is a chance this could go up in smoke.

I do think it’s kind of suspect that an account created half an hour is suddenly coming in saying how so and so needs their own thread.

Long time lurker. I lurked around tapatalk and I lurked around here, until I feel like giving my input. For tapatalk, it was telling Stardust she needed to chill the fuck out. I personally experienced that melt down, so I can tell you, it isn't a hard reaction to get. All I did was tell her to make her posting format less obnoxious and not call artists pedophiles for interacting with her, and she fucking lost it.

And considering you not only just created an account here, but you're actively admitting to interacting with a potential cow (the one big thing you're never supposed to do), not only do I have my doubts that you're doing this with good intentions, I highly doubt that's all you said.

I could very well be wrong, maybe you're right and just not very well adept to how the forum works still - even after supposedly lurking around here for a bit - but I'm still incredibly skeptical either way.

I was surprised after watching Hazbin Hotel to learn Vizie is kinda SJW-y, but honestly I don't have a problem with that since it seems like it hasn't stopped her from having an actual sense of humor. Most of her ilk try to make bean mouth cartoons about fatasses stating their morals to the viewer, and Hazbin is refreshingly as far as you can get from that. Like, I'm nervous about it, but cautiously optimistic.

If it never really comes through her show and it keeps the same tone, then I think she's succeeded regardless of how many Twitter spergouts she's had.
