I wonder if that’s actually how he takes it or if he was just saying it to be irritating. Blitz did compliment how much of a douche he sounded like. They were trying to infuriate the agents right before they got gassed.
Yeah plus the whole pegging thing was probably for the sake of a running joke...in all seriousness though top shelf episode almost feels like a season finale but isn't there like a few more to go at least one tv length 13 ep season? Or was that it?

Especially loved the end fight scene Millie and loony being total badasses and blitz going all exorcist on not Mulder and Scully. Solid 7 outta ten

The team up fights were definitely some of my favorite parts, though there was one specific one left out entirely which I thought was kinda interesting.

Great episode overall but with its share of problems. The first minutes I wasn't a huge fan of, to me the pacing was all over the place and we are back with the humor being almost nothing but insults, however, once the trip sequence begins the episode gets way better: well animated for the most part and cool interactions between the characters, the battle while hard to follow sometimes was easily the best part and Stolas doing it demonic shit was creepy.

Pretty impressed but I just wish that they would have better direction because as I said some scenes are hard to follow but still entertaining nonetheless. Another thing I will add, it was just me of the sound mixing in this episode was more low than previous? I swear I had a hard time listening to what the characters were saying sometimes.

Some jokes did land, and I did like that this show is progressive, but doesn't have a in your face, LGBT is all we are trope of gay people, so that's good.

But I didn't like the forced song/trip. The visuals are nice, but I'm not a fan of 'characters literally telling you what they are and how they feel' anything in movies. It's so amateurish and dumb.

I think that the sequence is a casualty of a problem that infests a lot of projects these days-- the fear of things being 'misinterpreted' or having things be too obtuse for an average audience-goer. While I don't really blame the creator for being overly obvious (a trip to the comment section will show that the average Hazbin fan is horribly stupid), the visual symbolism wasn't exactly subtle and the message would have gotten through totally fine with minimal/no dialogue.

I'm personally fine with Moxxie's trip being a musical where thoughts/feelings are sung out because he's a soyboy and it makes sense for his trip to be overly cheesy/introspective. However, for Blitzo's character it doesn't make sense for the hallucinations to explain their meaning to him, since even the hallucinations state that he avoids thinking about his actions most of the time.

It didn't bother me too much since I liked the visuals, but it was extremely heavy-handed. The thing that's been annoying me is the way that character interactions/relationships shift episode-to-episode in a way that feels unnatural and borderline-retconning (Blitzo and Stolas are perpetual victims of this, with their relationship changing constantly). I like the show overall, but it's pretty obvious they're just making shit up as they go along.

I actually really enjoyed this episode, it had some nice animation and neat visuals. i think the only problem i have with this one is Agent One's voice, it just sounds kinda strange, and it doesn't help that he's yet another character voiced by Michael Ruocco

Holy fuck, I can see why it took so long. The musical number was kind of a miss, probably because it went back and forth between musical and an bad acid trip, but good animation overall. The episode was great but I got some mixed signals from the tone. It partly felt like a season finale, but there's still shit that we haven't seen yet if one of the trailers is anything to go by (Stolas eating cereal while depressed and the return of that robo clown being two of the scenes in it that stuck out). Also it seems weird to just end a season after 6 episodes.

I've never really paid attention on other types of shows, but having some kind of major event at the midpoint of the season isn't that uncommon for animated works. Especially those that take a break between the A and B parts of a season. Not sure if that's the case here, but it's one possibility.

Episode itself was... mixed, but more good than bad. Pacing was a bit jank, still had choppy animation in some frames, and certain scenes dragged a little too long. Can't fairly judge the musical bit since I tend not to like those in general. Fight scenes were good, was nice to see some actual character and plot development, and holy fuck Stolas is terrifying. Are he and Blitzo boyfriend and boyfriend now or just fuckbuddies or what? (Not asking for shipping reasons, just curious what others thought.)

Yeah the episode was really good and I really felt the animation was much better compared to the previous episodes. It's pacing was a bit off at the start but it really picked up speed and I'm genuinely interested in what happens next especially with the ending of this episode and the last opening up some plot threads the fact the government knows about the existence of demons and the whole thing with Stolas' wife.

Also the action sequences were just beautiful and Stolas' true demon form was badass as hell.

IIRC there are going to be ten episodes in total and then season one is over. There are several loose ends, along with villains who will obviously be returning, so there’s no way Helluva is ending yet.

Also I think Blitzo kissing Stolas at the end is meant to show they’re finally an official couple, what with Blitzo initiating and actually showing affection towards Stolas. His trip implied he genuinely has feelings for Stolas while feeling chained to him at the same time.

Oh that would be great since I have surprisingly been more invested in this show, wonder what Hazbin will do to differentiate itself.

Though with the kissing scene, that makes me anticipate where this could lead to.

Helluva Boss kinda fascinates me. I really love it and it's one of the very few shows these days, that has LGBT representation in it without being incredibly hamfisted or being incredibly cringe.

So why aren't more media outlets praising it for being stunning and brave? Like, journalists usually eat this shit up.
Because its new media and Vivzie has been persona non grata within the social justice crowd for....I don't fucking know. The targets SJW's choose are always incoherent.

Because it isn't incredibly hamfisted or incredibly cringe. That's now obligatory.

Homosex only qualifies as stunning and brave if it can be easily censored for our Chinese overlords.
