Height thread.

I don't really think height is important. Sure, I kinda like the idea of having a taller person as my significant other, but it's not really important to me. I think, in general, people place more emphasis on it in theory than they do in practice.

So I wanted to have a thread about height. What is your height? How do you feel about it? How has it affected your life? How do you feel about height in the opposite sex (or same sex if you're one of da' homos?) Who is the shortest person on the CWCkiforums? Who's the tallest?

PS: "Who fucking cares, and why is this a thread?" is a completely acceptable answer.

6'2" here, and I'm on board with everyone here who digs short chicks. Tall women are cool too, don't get me wrong, but I am attracted to the youthful charm that short women have.

honestly I think my friend just uses it as an excuse for why he has no game.
 
I'm 6'3" and average about 180 Lbs. I like baggy gear, so I look bigger than I am. I'm also more-or-less a straight line- My measurements are 36"-36"-36".

I like small girls/guys, and tall ones as well. Some people are worth the climb.

My only pet peeve with short people is cleaning. I know it sounds weird, but most of the people I've lived with are well under six feet tall. I'd get home to find my room-mate or wife had cleaned and "organized" the kitchen, but somehow all the top shelves were about bare.

I've been 5'1" since middle school. I'm pretty short for not actually being a bird. I am half-Asian...but even my full-Asian mom and half-Asian sister are taller than me. :(
 
I'm like 5'7

Height isn't something I even thought about much as I got older. It never really impacted how I viewed women either.

Although as much as women agonize about how men objectify them. Women generally objectify men quite a lot. I've met women and read numerous personal ads that refuse to date a man shorter than them.

I mean do I think they're being honest? Probably not. But still.
 
I used to tell people I was 6 feet tall, I was that height at some point in high school when I came to this conclusion, but I smacked my head on enough 6 ft. clearance doorways in Japan to know that I'm a little bit taller than 6. No clue what the actual number is.

My ideal woman would be precisely the same height as me, I suppose tall for a woman, but if we're talking about the extreme ends of the spectrum where it starts to make a difference I'd prefer a woman who was "too short" over "too tall".

Honestly, as long as you're not legally a dwarf or some kind of basketball playing prodigy, I don't think height matters at all for a woman's attractiveness. For men I get the impression that you start to lose some pull once you're below the average height for women. I do know for a fact that if a guy is being an aggressive douchebag, and he's shorter than you, you have a 100% fool proof method of getting under his skin so I get the impression it has some impact on men. In general I think height can subtract from attractiveness, but not add.

Unfortunately I'm straight, white, cisgendered AND tall so this is all mansplaining and probably at least a half dozen other portmanteaus.

I'm 5'3 or 4''. Personally, I like tall guys. They kinda give off that... "protective" aura, so to speak. :oops:

I find it hard to buy 'short' dresses and pants. Because everything is made for women who are about 5'4

I'm 5'3 and I can't imagine being any shorter than that because I already feel bad about it. My two closest friends are 5'7, 5'8 and they don't understand how much it sucks being shorter. Like how a five pound weight gain on me would look completely different than five pounds on them so I have to watch what I eat. Or how all of my pant legs are always way too long and I have to roll them up.
Every guy I've dated before my current boyfriend has been 6 - 6'4. I guess I automatically have a thing for taller guys. My boyfriend is 5'10ish and he's kind of the perfect height for me where it isn't a struggle to hug him and at least he thinks I'm cute.:heart-full:

5'9" here. Date short dudes and date tall dudes. Height requirements aren't really my thing.
