The whole AMA thing they tried to do was actually fucking gold. You can boil the whole thing down into "We know what you want and don't care. Goodbye"

It's almost kind of based tbh.

Clearly at some point AH ended up pissed off and disillusioned that they had a totally different audience than they expected, asking them to make the game into something totally different than they ever planned to, they just finally grew the balls to just say "look, it's our game, fuck off", in as many words.

They should have made it clearer a long time ago frankly.

Uh, no, they did not grow balls in fact.

I seriously doubt they even care at this point. They've already made enough money from this game to buy their own nuclear arsenal. The ideal situation for a game such as this is early access with the devs improving it over time. Sadly, this game was an instant success.

The problem with FOTM games is that the devs have no reason to improve it over time, which really sucks for games that are unfinished on launch (aka HD2). I'm sure the game is still a good revenue source, but I doubt they have an incentive to address your complaints.

The fuck is he even blabbering about here lmao. Jesus.

Most of replies I've read he sounds a lot more like he's trying to say, in a nice polite PR friendly way, "no, you won't be getting your pet feature added, stop asking".

"Unfinished" is one thing, but I think the problem is exactly what people were hoping for when it is "finished". People have been playing this game for the last 2 years in this delusional hope that they are going to suddenly one day unveil an update that turns it into like, a full MMO akin to Destiny or Warframe or something.

But when it's been out for this long, these people should have realised a long time ago, the game we already have, that's it, that's the game.

I have a conspiracy theory its more likely a "sweedish" behavior, Fatshart done the same w Darktard and some extend w Wermintard, and i vaguely remembering something w 10chambers and GTFO messing w the balance to spite on favorite builds (but im not sure about this i might confusing to other game)

I have 340 hours in this game and play D10 consistently. I think Cyberstan was what broke the camel's ass for me. The Devs don't play their own game at the highest difficulty which is what most people play. The way they balance shit makes this apparent. They won't introduce mech customization because they can just sell more mech variants in warbonds. If there's a problem with the game its now guaranteed they'll sell the solution. I've had enough. I had my fun, I'm just disappointed.

This could have been the Fortnite of pve shooters. A game that could last for years. But after the first year it fell into a state of apathy because the fucking devs hate their own playerbase.

Pathetic.

Pretty sure this is the whole problem, it could have been, lots of players latched on hoping it would be, but the devs never wanted it to be, never intended it to be, and they certainly didn't want that workload either.

I think the playerbase is currently experiencing that thing where they fell in love with somebody who was only interested in a quick fling, and it's taken this long for it to really sink in.

Was there a sale on psn or something?
Ive seen a huge uptick on genuinely stupid, uncooperative or disruptive players with low rank even on super helldive.
And alot of retarded children with incredibly shitty open mics where i can hear bunch of retarded gibberish and the games audio coming through.
Its been half of all matches this and last week after i redownloaded the game.

The retarded swedish monkey's paw curled. War striders are slightly less annoying, their joints are medium now meaning way more stuff can do full damage on them and there may be more options than anti tank rockets to handle them, but in return exosuits haven't really changed. Double the health but everything does more damage now anyways (by values I wouldn't know without someone who looked at the data). Like telling me the enemies all "deal more durable damage" sounds like nothing changes. If a hunter swipe deals 60 damage/25 durable, is it now 30? 50? How much is more, how much is slightly more? Durable damage is fine in concept but it's not explained anywhere in-game and the patch notes assume players know what it is/means. You have to look at the wiki to understand it and I hate when games are heavily reliant on wikis to just get basic information, as opposed to just finding out where/how to get something when a game has so many items or whatever.

Oh and melee is less taxing on stamina for most weapons. For all that's worth. The defoliator got the most changes where it's half as costly and the armor pen ramps up faster so maybe that's good? Never used it.
