Helldivers 2 - Hell is more diverse than ever as PlayStation's demographics continue to grow and change.

Is this one of those games where update creep makes it increasingly harder for newer players to get into the game?
I want to play it but probably wont get to it for a while.

You would be missing out on a lot of the narrative and maybe the changes and additions of weapons as they come along. That's the only thing I would see is that if you're completely new and happen to get in with randoms that are established, having only an assault rifle and two strategems (and not even particularly good ones. There's nothing wrong with the MG and orbital precision but there's a lot more out there) will make you feel like you're left out. There's no way to directly buy these things with money at least either. You can pay money for super credits and there's a superstore with armor, and you can buy ACCESS to warbond passes with weapons, but everything inside them is unlocked with warbond medals from gameplay.

You can also slowly accumulate SC from buying them with medals in a pass or getting 10 of them here and there occasionally from points of interest on the map, such as fallen drones, sealed containers, and bunkers.

The only thing that would make sense changing with the beginner kits is that they should be given 4 stratagems instead of just 2 to begin with. My suggestion would be at least some kind of a spotter drone and placeable fortifications.

they should do orcs
What would the orcs play like through? Basically a combo of the terminds and bots?

Would be kind of fun. Sure, the orcs have guns but they are wildly inaccurate and want to melee most of the time. Half their shit explodes even if don't hit the weakpoints.

When they call down reinforcements it should be a mini-rok trying to drop on you. Or a convoy of red vehicles coming in from the edge of the map.

The Automatons are gone now, back to the bug front:

So the Illuminate's arrival must be imminent since the bugs will be cleaned up fast with the entire playerbase focusing on them now, maybe with the new warbond?

I honestly don't think the bugs would last till Thursday.

Of course I look forward to the bots trying to get back Malevelon Creek.

Damn, I played a few bot missions earlier then took a break, now they're not available. I was holding off on the exosuit until the new one with the quad cannons drops but I guess I'll go ahead and drop the 20k

Boy do I hate how many times I've brought the fucking laser cannon instead of the quasar cannon because their icons look similar. The way they even sound stupidly alike makes it feel like a prank.

Edit: Also if I restart the game and join back in I should be allowed to choose a different loadout because fuck running laser cannon against bots on helldive on an "intense heat" planet.

I hope the next fourth enemy is going to be super earth defactors.
There are people around still putting up those illegal broadcasts, and there seem to be no end to them, meaning they should be atleast a small army.
I would go with at least two kinds of hostile human factions. First would of course be dissidents armed with mostly civilian weaponry with some military gear and cyborgs, with their tanks being essentially improvised space killdozers. Those of course would be the guys who would actually set up illegal broadcasts and research stations. The other would be space pirates who are in fact, very well equipped but few in numbers compared to all other factions. Then again, these guys wouldn't really show up to conquer planets, they are just here to raid and loot peripheral areas.

Man it's been a very long time since fighting the bugs with any seriousness. What's your go-to primary for bug killing? I tried the fire Breaker, but I'm not finding it that amazing.
