When pressured he admits that he knew for 6 months before launch it would be mandatory. No real sympathy for this shit show now, they did it to themselves.
This is what I've been trying to tell people for days. Yeah I get it, sOnY bAd, it is a shitty and retarded business decision.
But the fags trying to use this as fuel for their sony hate boners forget the trannies and weirdos at AH knew about this since the game launched and their way of letting people know was a few boxes of text they knew people wouldn't read. They STAY in the fucking discord and chat about everything, but somehow this didn't come up in discussion until there was only a week or so until the change?
Bullshit. These fuckers were up to hoover as much cash as they could, and I feel like not a small percentage of them actually hate the people who play the game.
The other is....Arrowhead should have known better to use the carrot not the stick for this. After the massive success of the game the best way forward would have been to announce a free warbond (or weapon/cape/etc) for PC people that signed up for PSN Network.
This. Offer "free" cosmetics if you connect via PSN on PC would have been the perfect Judas goat. People like me shrieking about the contract PSN requires you to agree too would have been drowned out by the happy braying of the cattle looking to score "free" grain in feed lot.

There's the mishandling of the emergency statements, too, which are NOT in the announcements sections on their store page or socials.
There are people going total retard war who might be exercising more trigger discipline if their last piece of information wasn't a CM blunder that had since been nuked and officially apologized for.
Well, Pilestedt is the CEO and while a dumbass actually got a good product out despite what we see now his best efforts to fuck things up and play the "I'm just a little dev guys, sorrrrrrrryyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy". I say you gotta get rid of the mystery meat tranny CM Mistry. Nothing good happens keeping a tranny around.
I am worried for this game. I am trying not to be too cynical, but I think that Sony might not budge. Simply because they already got their money from a massive amount of sales. But the refunds from PC sales are perhaps the only way this will actually hurt Sony.
"Here is an invoice for the costs we incurred due to your fuckups. Pay us or else. Love, Valve."
- Letter found on Sony Interactive Entertainment's doorstep
I don't think you can do that with direct deposit. Refunds would come out of a game's revenue before the developer gets their monthly payout, so I guess it depends on when Sony (or Arrowhead?) gets their payment. I imagine game sales are a trickle right now, and I see lots of people successfully refunding.
Unless I'm misunderstanding something, devs/publishers are paid out monthly as per this. It's interesting how the fuckup happened right at the beginning of the month.
Q. When can I expect to be paid every month?
A. We pay out by the 30th of the month following sales. For example, we will pay you for calendar February month sales by March 30th. It may take a few business days for the payment to post to your bank account. In that case, you may see the payment in your bank account during the first few days of April, following the example above.
They'd simply deduct the amount from the next monthly payout. With a publisher as large as Sony, there isn't a chance in hell Valve doesn't have all their i's dotted and t's crossed.
Keep Pilestedt, he led a team that made a fun game.
If Twinbeard was the guy who went on reddit and told them to stop being bad over the first, tiny railgun nerf, keep him, that was funny.
Every other community-facing member of the team goes straight into the trash.
Sony will not back down. It's better for them to take the L than set the precedent that consumers can alter their decisions. What you can do is refund the game so that Sony knows there's no money to be made by bringing the PSN to Steam in the future. Not that there's any guarantee they won't try to do this again.
If for some reason they do back down, then you can just wait for the game to go on sale and buy it again. It's a net positive either way if you think about it.
She was caught with a Palestinian flag on 10/7, and her profile still has the "watermelon" which is tiktok "creole" for hamas support.
She literally supports international terrorists.
Rimworld used to sell like this before their game got late into development and all the site owners got keys to convert their rimworld copies to steam. They kept the way to buy it on their website for a while but the problem was since you could convert them to steam keys they were flooded with grey market resellers using stolen credit cards and they were loosing money overall due to changebacks. So I think that's why most companies don't sell via their own site. If I remember correctly valve also has a rule that if you sell somewhere else it has to be the same price as in steam.
Fucking lemmings have no sense of proportion.
When the company puts out a release saying they're looking into reverting, you don't punish them for that, you give them enough time to react first.
These fuckers are killing their own game before Sony can.

Give me rainbows but I'm still holding off for now (i.e. not playing but not refunding). We'll see what the next couple weeks bring. I'm sure as shit not creating the PSN account but I'm not going to punish Arrowhead (despite their absolute communication blunder) until it's 100% certain this is going through. If it does end up being the case, I'll probably still follow the game from the sidelines, as I enjoy the world building and aesthetics.
