I feel crazy, but I think I actually like Vox Engine. I mean it's bullshit that they replace factory striders but other than that I think they're not that bad.
I like the Vox Engine. It's the Vox Engines I have a problem with.

screaming at us to NOT use a hellbomb to blow something up
To be fair sweedis morons fucked up some obj (got patched recently) by soft locking it if you blew up w a portable hell bomb.

Seriously, who at Arrowhead thought giving the bots their own Leviathan and Dragonroach was a good idea? Why can't Arrowhead refrain from releasing a garbage enemy every single major update since Omens?
My only gripe is the niggers at arrowhead has zero sens of distancing things... Pissing and shittig themself about "muh mill sim tacticool" gameplay but when comes to execution, the niggers just duping the enemy reinforcement right on top of the players...

Dropping such a massive thing (vox engine) right next to the players is imo massive faggotry

c4 backpack is the only way to cause total Vox Engine death when you have more than 2 of them. Even better if you have a resupply pod nearby. One full pack can kill 2 - 3 of them quickly.

Got the game a few days ago, pretty fun so far and it's neat that a new event just happened to be around the corner though I suppose that's why it had a steam sale.
Two things are unclear to me about Cyberstan. What do I need to destroy the big buildings for the side objective? I can't call in hellbombs and see no other weaknesses, is it really just big bombardments you need? And what's the deal with those PoIs with the big grinders? I can't seem to find any loot there but they're marked on the map.
Also why is everyone on my ship black?

Just another way for them to push another update with more weapons I bet.
Or warbonds like the stealth one which awfully conveniently coincided with the operation missions.
How AH handling their weapon balance its highly unlikely. Dev niggers at the top want the player to suffer like a lil bitch grunt, because the niggers at AH disgusted by the idea helldivers as a franchise turning in to a spiritual successor of star ship troopers.

Agreed. I don't mind being dropped on from time to time, but Arrowhead could give us more opportunities to enjoy long range combat.
It can happen around extraction, when we all just obliterate whatever patrols advance toward extract from their beyond-line-of-sight spawn. Feels much more like proper field combat, which I enjoy just as much as the claustrophobic knife fights of the city.

And the glazers wil always defend them. I've seriously seen redditors defend the broken enemy designs of everything. Arrowhead can do no wrong in their eyes.

"How would they know enemies are op?"

That's what playtesters are for. Hire some.

"Just lower the difficulty!"

Why should I have to lower just to get a somewhat fair game?

"Skill issue! Just hit weakpoints!"

Good luck with that when the tanks are spammed to hell. Have you fought six engines at once yet?

Glazers are a tumor to this community.

Vox engines are fine, and are a decent design as an enemy. However.....

1. On the "Raise the flag" missions why the fuck is the Vox Engine dropping right on top of the flag itself? I sure do love having to shoot at a horde of cyberniggers just to have their fucking superheavy land right on top of the objective infront of your face. At least with factory striders you can just oneshot easily if they land on top of you.

2. Ok so just run under it, shoot some vents and press G...ez....except there's another one right fucking behind the other one, and can shoot THROUGH the other vox engine with lasers to ragdoll your ass. Also they can move surprisingly fast in a straight line. Better have stamina wearing medium armor or lighter, or you run the risk of the damn thing just speeding away while you're trying to throw the grenade in. Get ragdolled? Fuck you, it'll speed away and those chaingun turrets will fuck you up.

3. The Vox Engines can move THROUGH EACH OTHER meaning the tracks clip together, making it impossible to do the "run under the tracks" strategy.

4. On Diff 8+ they replace every single factory strider.....

5. They have the supernatural ability to track your ass through buildings despite being out of combat or breaking line of sight. If I'm fighting cyborgs I understand that maybe they would "relay" my position for the vox engine to shoot rockets...but if its only the vox engine why can it track me through multiple buildings and keep harassing me with launched rockets way after I should have broke aggro??

The enemy itself isn't the issue, and IMO can be more fair than the dragonroach/leviathan were on their release.....if it wasn't for the fucking bugs. We had one land on top of a building, and it was hell. It would just fucking snipe everyone until we killed it. It took about 3 deaths of just randomly blowing the fuck up and dying before one of us saw it up there, then more deaths trying to kill the fucking thing, since you can't hit any weakspots if its glitched ontop of a skyscraper shooting your ass at a weird angle.

The megafactory map also reminded me of the absolutely niggerslop coded system for reinforcing. My assumption is that it considers certain objectives and large geometry as being impassable and so it will spawn you around it and invisible wall you as to not let you get stuck. The problem with this is that what AH defines as impassable makes for problems where you want to smash the head of a titan or other big unit but the game just forbids you from moving.

On Cyberstan at least a quarter of my reinforcements when near the walls threw me outside the fuckin things and there wasn't a breach nearby so my ass was running long to get back into the fight while my brothers in liberty were getting explosively raped by vox engines.

They can also drive over terrain that the player can't navigate. I had a few that just parked on the sides of cliffs and became invulnerable. The machine gun turrets can be destroyed, though for some reason I could destroy them with less than a clip from the JAR, while a clip from the grenade launcher wouldn't do it.

I had this exact thing happen and it was mind numbing to watch my teammates repeatedly die to it without ever looking up.

How is everyone enjoying the glorious and democratic rape of Cyberstan?
The cyborgs are funny with their karate moves, the theme music slaps and cities give a WW2 Stalingrad feel.
Now, I just need my fellow divers to not die 8+ times and waste reinforcements, and I'll be happier.
Nothing ruins a session more then a tard who makes it his mission to face tank every laser or bombardment.
