I mean AH aren't getting paid either, the reward for beating the challenge is just them getting to decide which charity the money goes to instead of the guy making the bet.
 
My stance is unchanged, this game should have had offline modes and local split screen from the start. A classic battlefront galactic conquest style system of all the content so far would be cool and ensure longevity, cause this game is fucking dying sooner than however long they plan for. 10 years will become a game of irrelevance, and when the servers shut down it's all gone. Fuck the live service model.

People say this game plays like an RTS but you're the pawn but it can obviously be done. The first game has offline, it's the same fucking engine. There's already mods for it, why not? Every excuse is just bullshit. At some point it costs more to keep servers up than it does to give it to the fans.

Don't tell me they don't have the resources to or it's a pain in the ass when they've done nothing BUT waste their resources fucking up their own game balance and fun factor. These faggot developers don't even have the talent to back their own experience up and make a cool story campaign from it. They got a HALO ODST collab and didn't make the most of it. How do you fuck that up, one of the most fun offline Halo campaigns lmao or maybe it's just all aesthetic over substance.

Update from the challenge guy.

Not only was he banned from the horse sanctuary he worked at because of glazers threatening them, but he got fired from his job too.

Redditors actually ruined this dude's life because he asked Arrowhead to play their own game.

Sounds like he's in the right. They should play their own fucking game. It shouldn't be us Playtesting for them to fuck up and ruin.

It's never happening, I only heard responses from the devs and asspulls for why it won't happen 2 years ago in their discord or something. They don't care it looks like. It's a shame because the game really does have the classic star wars battlefront fun factor potential with capturing posts and liberating planets for domination like a larger scale galactic conquest for boots on the ground combat.

And if there was ever an offline mode with mod support we can essentially make a new battlefront out of it, better than EA's shitty reboots.

Worse part about this is that because Arrow Head constantly updates the game these mods become unplayable unless the author also updates the mods. There are pages of fantastic mods that are left to rot because AH refuses to give this game an offline mode.

Yeah man. It fucking sucks. Most of the mods I showed don't work anymore and had to have new versions for the new updates.
