but in return exosuits haven't really changed
Exosuits suuuuck, only reason ive ever used them is the 15 minute mission to reduce enemy numbers on bugs only.
Ive tried using them on same bot mission but all too many times ive had one arm of the exosuit fucked so now im half ammo and half DPS.

I had a weird fucking thing happen on the last mission i played 10 15 minutes ago on bots.
>squad of randoms splinters into 2 and 2
>raise the flags mission
>guy with me kills himself with a purified shot and ragequits
>two more people join and also ragequit after one death
>third joins and he joins the other 2 original members clearing rest of the map leaving me alone
>every time my objectives flag is raised 20%ish the entirety of the maps bot drops come to me
>repeat this 3-4 times and 35 minutes have passed, somehow fucking dont die a single time
>rest of the map cleared and squad joins up to me
>flag raised, no enemies
>extraction, no enemies

Plasma turrets
Instant F tier, fucking turrets wouldnt be able to lead targets for shit.
Ever see rocket turrets miss the same sprinting enemy 5 times in a row?
Yeah...

God damnit they really should buff assault rifles so theyd be more viable at higher difficulties.
Especially against bots, it just does not make sense to use assault rifles at higher difficulties.

Just played on the new biome, sure wish I could fucking see it past all the spores, the old yellow-green and the brand new kidney-rock-red. The new bugs are so fast they did genuine circles around us once they got close before attacking.

I don't get it, did they think that if you just remake burrowers but now above ground it would be good? because that's what it felt like just instead of being unable to shoot the bugs because they are underground they just get to you so fast that you may as well be unable to shoot them.

Also the climbing is still broken.

Anyone unlock the new LMG? Cause I didn't bother buying the warbond, it's mechs and a med-pen smg neither of which I care about at all.

They seem faster overall, and the red vomit buffs their speed even more. They are so fast that even with the new Oxy light armor and stimulation speed buff they can still surround you.

Enemy density is very high on these new biomes. I ran two high levels over lunch and got 780/670 kills respectively. Primary flamer, stalwart support, 500, gatling or gas, and portable hellbomb.

Feels like a disposable stalwart. Upside is the tiny recoil, downside is you only get one clip of 300, and while it drops two of them you will never be able to stay in one place long enough to use both, at least on 6+.

I didn't run with the new armors but I realized the new spores buff them real quick. I haven't played on the bugs since the cave biome/hive lord release so I can't compare the mob density but it sure felt higher than I remember. I did use the primary flamer only issue I had was how the flaming bugs would crash into me before dying and set me on fire, I suspect that while the buff they did to flame damage where they start to panic does take effect it doesn't do it fast enough with their buffed speed, the gas grenades helped very much, also I ran the FRV and it seemed to survive fairly well even with all the durable damage buffs. For context I run dif 8 missions as they have a good difficulty while not trying to crash my PC which is not weak but this is Helldivers so.

Good to know, so I have zero reason to even be tempted to buy this waste of space warbond.

I had the exact same experience, the fire panic effect just doesn't seem to affect these guys.

The SMG seems completely useless too. Damage is low and you get 2.1 seconds of fire per clip. Haven't played with the suits yet but I am not really a mech player.

Pretty sure this is the whole problem, it could have been, lots of players latched on hoping it would be, but the devs never wanted it to be, never intended it to be, and they certainly didn't want that workload either.

I think the playerbase is currently experiencing that thing where they fell in love with somebody who was only interested in a quick fling, and it's taken this long for it to really sink in.
Devs are incompetent retards. They caught lightning in a bottle and instead of capitalizing on it they kept trying to get the lightning out so they could shit in it. Took 2 years but they succeeded.

I don't know what they were thinking with these latest balance changes but they're even more retarded than I could have previously imagined.

Was there a sale on psn or something?
Ive seen a huge uptick on genuinely stupid, uncooperative or disruptive players with low rank even on super helldive.
And alot of retarded children with incredibly shitty open mics where i can hear bunch of retarded gibberish and the games audio coming through.
Its been half of all matches this and last week after i redownloaded the game.
The game was just on sale during the spring summer sale soooo.

There are no words. Sorry for the earrape audio but its not my video.

What great changes this patch made.

Mantling has been broken for a while. Now it's broken in the fucking tutorial too.

Great game.

Sweed developers are the landlord of gaming.. They want to do jack shit for infinite money and if there is an "improvement" / "fix" need to be made they bitching and moan about it.

I never use mechs, the tank or the car. The mechs are the easiest to pilot, but I had a few incidents with them on Cyberstan I'm still mad about.

Now that I think about it, I never had to go on the DRG wiki to look up enemy weakpoints.

Anyway, a new PvE released yesterday called Far Far West. It's looks fun, check it out if you're looking for something new.

I don't think I've ever seen a game company fuck up a game with this much potential this quickly.

The game isn't even 3 years old yet, what the fuck are they doing
Someone once told me that behind every jew there's a swede rubbing a meatball.
I didn't understood then, but I do now.

Never, ever, trust a swede.

I've said it once and I'll keep saying it until it stops annoying me, but HD1 was not this bad. The enemies, the mechanics, the AI, the DLC, the progression, the balance, the gameplay loop, the stability, all of it was great in 1.

I get it's a simpler game so it's easier not to fuck up, but how do you absolutely nail the first attempt then shit all over yourself halfway through the second time?

My own theory is they wanted a grounded take on how it would feel like to be part of a high-casualty special forces in a sci-fi setting but had to strip a whole lot of the more ambitious mechanics they thought up over development time so they have a viable product for launch and ended up creating an more action packed horde shooter and they feel bitter about it.

Add in how players obviously get better with meta progression of us not actually dying with our divers thus keeping meta knowledge of what works and what doesn't leading to us quickly surpassing what in their mind should be insurmountable odds that they feel like we shouldn't be able to do because I guess we are supposed to roleplay eighteen year-olds with minimal training who are sent into a meatgrinder instead of effectively immortal beings that know exactly how all this shit works and how to exploit enemies to our advantage so they keep nerfing any popular loadouts.

Someone on Reddit made a good comparison for why HD1 is good and HD2 is not living up to the hype. HD1 it was you and your team fighting back to back, shoulder to shoulder against hordes of impossible odds. HD2 they make us terrible because they’re pissed we are taking the wrong thing of the message of their game. And thus they kneecap us every chance they get. They’re the worst version of an antagonistic DM.

Phew, it's a good thing they used how the robots and squids can obliterate your mechs and sentries as a reason for why they inexplicably buffed bugs, the only faction you can reasonably use mechs and sentries against, so they can also destroy your mechs and sentries instantly while adjusting an existing common spawn to be immune to their damage.

I'm even more elated to hear that Arrowhead also buffed robots and squids to obliterate mechs and sentries on top of that, since they were just being polite when they said robots and squids were in the perfect spot for durable damage and actually wanted them to be even stronger. If there's one thing I enjoy as a player, it's seeing a tool with a 120 second cooldown I can't put on elevated positions be atomized in under ten seconds by a single enemy regardless of faction.
