Rewatching the 2001 seried and man its funny how badly stitched together this series was. Take for example the Valentines attack on the mansion, in Ultimate and manga the whole deal was testing a fully trained ghoul army, plus how well they knew the place you get an implication of someone leaking the info (Walter).

In the 2001 series, the Valetines are just street thug vampires, who only attack the mansion because they tried to send a spy into their group. That seems like theit only reason for this shit, Millennium isnt present in the series and Piccolo in a trenchcoat never says he was connected to them. Plus it opens a can of worms how they knew about the mansion or about Alucard.
 
I had this weird dream the other night where I was talking with some friends and for some reason I started explaining Hellsing (both 13 and Ultimate) in great detail. I think I went on talking about it for what felt like 10 minutes. The whole dream was just me talking about Hellsing... I blame this thread for this incident!
