Help with shitty mom

When I was 13 my mom left for drugs with a man that is older than my grandfather and now lives in Ohio. Last summer she contacted me through Facebook and wanted my email so we could talk "so it could be more private", so I gave her my email and it has resulted in me emailing her and her not responding for a few months back and forth. Two months ago she emailed me saying that she fears she's going to be homeless again and two days ago she's said that she wants to call me "to talk about something important", I gave her both my grandparent's phone number and my uncle's phone number, she hasn't called or texted either of the numbers and I've offered to download TextNow if she feels that would be better and no response. I just have no clue what to do, can you help?

It's mostly already been said. Ignore her. It's not your fault that she's a terrible mother, but if you let her into your life and you let her ruin you it will be your own fault. Your grandparents and your uncle are already wise to her games and that's likely why she isn't talking to them. You were a child when she last saw you and she figures you're easy game. Don't talk to her, don't give her money, and definitely don't give her your phone number you did good there.

Lastly, find somewhere that isn't Kiwi Farms to ask personal questions like this.

FWIW, your mom is either already on the streets and refusing to get her life together or is trying to wring something out of you.

Sure, there's free internet at the library (assuming that it's open); and there's plenty of homeless outreach programs out there. But it's ultimately up to her to find a way to reach out to her.
