They were accusing me of "grooming" minors (on an 18+ server, especially ridiculous), and so I, making the very NAIVE mistake of assuming they were just other bronies in good faith (which my editor later pointed out to me was not necessarily the case), explained to them how in the past I had tried to make PLATONIC friends with foals, and found them to be very one-note in their interests and superficial in their philosophies.
