Here comes Niko, a game about some non-binary kid running away from his parents. - Made to you buy the same guys who made a Hat in Time.

It should still say 'presented by' or 'published by' they may not have assisted development but they clearly endorse this.
I was genuinely like "What the fuck happened to Hat in time 2? they promised they'd give the kid a REAL shotgun in the sequel!" when I saw this thread lmao.

Who wants to bet half the staff identify as communists anyway?

It's just a shittier unoriginal version of "Cases Communism worked" joke, only trying to appear intellectual and being completely dishonest since you actually have the possibility of choosing "ethical consumption" under capitalism
I never understood why internet "communists" push against capitalism so hard. Capitalism is what allowed them to develop video games in the first place.

This isn't even giving permission to pirate the game, it is literally demanding you pirate it and all future games by the developer because to purchase from them is unethical because it is capitalistic. Of course, this isn't helpful for Niko because nobody would even want it for free...

They're white people that hate white people. They're men that want to castrate themselves and women who believe that abortion is murder and support it anyway.
The consistency of their ideology is that it's all things miserable, defective people nobody wants to be around believe. They aren't shitty people because they're communists. They're communist because they're shitty people.

The funiest thing is how oblivious they are to the absolute state that the soviet computer industry was in. The state running every industry of course lead to massive corruption, but the nature of bureaucracy also meant tech development could be very slow. The ussr computer was generally pitiful compared to what any western country had in the same year. Video gaming and video game development was a moot point before soviet collapse. The guy who made tetris had to go through so many hoops to get it out because it was property of the state. Of course, tell these guys any of the history and they'd just say it wasn't real communism.
