Google is currently promoting a fictional event as if it were historical fact. If you're like me and prefer your history to be free of fake atrocities, you can install this handy add-on, succintly called Hide Doodles.

For Brave and Chrome:

For Firefox:

It also doubles as preventive protection against the upcoming onslaught of faggot and tranny flags.

Still haven't found a way to hide them on the Android version of each browser, so if you find something let me know!

If you have an adblocker addon for your browser, as you should, why not simply add a filter rule? No additional crap installed and this will also work on other things, like BLM banners. Such a filter would help more people than a separate addon.

I miss this Google.

This is Google's page for the U.S.-based Doodles here. At some point, something changed. Up until around 2011-2012, something changed. The old Doodles were either based around holidays and were clearly based on the Google logo with something like the St. Patrick's Day logo being green with shamrocks, and even in December 2010 (Rosa Parks' bus ride), the G, the o, and the e are the same. It's not a clear cut distinction but you can tell when the Doodles were based on holidays, recognizable people, and the actual logo, whereas the newer stuff, especially post-2015 is super-abstract and usually features non-white literally whos.
