Raoul Wallenberg is one of the saddest cases of a good man getting buttfucked. Some of the risks he took to save the Jews from the Nazis were honest to god amazing and then the Soviets locked him up and killed him.

Someone better warn Null to tread softly or else he's gonna be a Siberian inmates bodypillow.

The thing that really bothers me is that he was memory holed in Sweden. From what little I learned growing up I thought he was from another country.
The gov also had no interest in knowing where the sovs had taken him, why they had taken him his current status, is he alive or dead and what do they even want him for? They didn't care.
The first monuments to him went up in the 90's in Sweden, quite a bit late. It always bothered me.

I apologize for my post up above, I thought it would be funny to start with a scandal that just kept branching out into other people and their deeds, involving more and more players and by the end the original intent would be lost and the reader would have learned nothing.
