Sure, he was only involved in producing just for marketing and/or name recognition purposes, same thing with most things produced by either Seth Rogen or Michael Bay that only used their names in marketing (but then people on the internet would called them Rogen or Bay movies as if they made them, but they were never involved except, again, producing for marketing and/or name recognition).
