Hit by Youtube's AdBlocker detection. Help needed.

Opera. I don't know why but I get no adverts ever on YouTube. Instead of loading an advert it believes it is offline or something so only plays the one video but it plays it in full and is never interrupted by an advert. I'm no nerd so that's the best way I can describe it. Hit refresh at the end and it plays the next video then thinks it's offline, ad infinitum.

Create a new account
Create a "virtual card", most banks/money services have it
Try youtube premium free trial with the "virtual card"
Switch to new account when it runs out in a month
Repeat

Use FreeTube
That is all.
FreeTube recently got a huge update. They've started using a new API and it works great.
I was mostly using Invidious before but it's becoming a bigger and bigger pain in the ass as time goes on. FreeTube however is the most hasslefree alternative I've used. I haven't encountered ads or any sort of blocking so far.

So yes, if you're a tech illiterate fag FreeTube is currently the best desktop option IMO.

ETA Pro Tip: You can copy YouTube video URLs and paste them into the search box at the top to watch the video in FreeTube.

I've been using adblockplus (free) for years and havent had any issues regarding ads slipping through, nor youtube bitching at me for blocking said ads. Is this a problem only faced in the US?

ReVanced is the way to go if you're running Android. (And if you're running Android, you best he rooted and using a custom rom, because fuck bloatware.)
uBO seems to be okay for me so far on desktop, with Brave.

If you're using iPhone or Mac, then I suggest suck starting a shotgun.

I use Brave and haven't had any issues whatsoever.

Same here.

I still miss Vanced on Android, particularly the Sponsor Block (only bad part was that it also autoskipped Internet Historians custom ads).

Never got ReVanced to work, kept hitting a roadblock where it kept saying my device/OS was too old to supported.

Brave with adnauseum doesn't seem to be detected yet. But lately video ads have been loading, all you got to do is go back a page and forward and it seems to skip the ad.
As far as I know, you don't get the detection warning unless you're signed in, but I could be wrong.
There's alternatives to Youtube that are faster and much better than Youtube itself at this point. Invidious is still functional though not all videos will play.
I'll have to give Freetube a try, thanks!

I don't think they'll win the adblock vs advertiser arms race unless they do something drastic, and knowing Google, they probably will.

More or less the same setup for me. Got the message for the first time today. I'm using a VPN, so just changing my location fixed it, but I'm keeping my eyes open.

Started having these shows up over the past week, despite purging/updating UBO and Adnauseum. A bit strange, because it seems like sometimes it'll happen each time I open a video, while other times it'll not show up for a day. Sometimes I can close them immediately, other times there's a timer before the X appears. It's odd.
