I like to draw creepy and weird things for the most part and read, usually Lovecraft, Stephen King, and Poe.

I enjoy reading, just finished the Dark Tower series and moving on to a collection of Lovecraft.

What about Clive Barker?

I've been meaning to get around to reading his works one of these days since his books look really interesting.

I also enjoy video games and have been itching to get back into tabletop RPG's like D&D, but I'm shy in finding a group to join. I like to collect bones and pelts. My collection is small at the moment but I certain plan on expanding it after awhile. Trinkets are another thing I like to collect, little figurines and whatnot that catch my eye.

We have an online group that a few of us play in, Mauveman DMs.

as for me, i work pretty much all the time. i used to do indie wrestling on weekends, but found drinking and going out to dance clubs more fulfilling than getting hit all the time.

I used to like drawing comics, making video announcements on YouTube, and going to church.

But now I just like video games, cartoons, Legos, looking for a girlfriend, eating fast food and frozen dinners, getting revenge against my enemies, spending my disability money, asking my friends to do stuff for me via Facebook, talking to various supernatural beings and the spirits of dead relatives, and helping take care of my mother. My sweet, sweet mother.

After finally concluding some legal issues, I'm going to start going back to my favorite place to play Pokemon.

I have quite a lot of hobbies...how I fit in time for all of them, I don't know.

I fire/UV dance (mostly with poi and fans) and have done with performance groups in the past. Now I teach people and occasionally set myself alight when drunk to entertain my friends! I also shoot whenever I can, just simple air rifle 22. stuff as I'm getting back in the game to go shoot the fuck out of bunnies. Then there's the leatherworking, skinning and tanning stuff...I don't skin and tan as much as I used to as I haven't been hunting for the last few years. As to leatherwork, me and the mister make small projects together like knife sheaths, phone covers and ammo pouches. I help the mister with his stone carving, too; he mostly makes pendants and paperweights out of soapstone, with a penchant for Mjolnir hammers. On that topic, we're both about to join a Viking re-enactment group where we can actually use the stuff we make and go nuts over history and shit (we love our history!). There's also apple season and our annual visit to the cider press for the creation of our moonshine *ahem* cider, plus the mead we're thinking of knocking together at some point. We both also DJ now and again at our local metal clubs (yes, all two of them!) and unleash proper metal mayhem to the masses for moneys and a bad case of whiplash.

There are other bits and bobs I dabble in too, but they're not really worth mentioning as they really are just dabbles and not proper hobbies.

*EDIT - Forgot about the comic I'm making! I'm in the middle of putting together a webcomic about metal music, the community, and tropes along those lines. I can't give too much away as it's SEEKRIT, but the main characters are a mountain troll and a forest troll. It's gonna be carnage. For content, think Asterix meets the Young Ones with a deep metal theme.

Do some little research on various martial arts for my own enjoyment (usually in more older martial arts), I aspire to be a researcher like Donn F. Draeger and the Skoss couple. Sadly I'm lacking in my knowledge these days while also forgetting some little details. It doesn't help that some styles have different names for the same thing.



I also do some forum rping in Proboards somewhere before I kinda flaked/quit making fanfictions. Other than that, nowadays I play Killing Floor and I plan to play Witcher, which I'm downloading atm.

ill start in real life I collect old military items from many different places and I have stuff as old as 1870 and stuff as new as the early 2000's although I specialize in stuff from world war 1 and world war 2, if anyone is ever interested in seeing pics of my stuff just hit me up anyway what to do you all do?

Me too. I mainly focus on British and Second World War things. I have a closet full of repro uniforms and hats. I reenact British, French and Soviet WWII. So much fun. I also am fascinated by the Indian Wars right now.

I have way too much crap to list; let's just say it's a lot. I've been trying to trim it down and focus on specific interests. Right now I am aiming to complete my British WWI Uniform in time for the 2014 100th.

Just picked up a Denison Smock to convert into a everyday jacket as well. I like to wear repro stuff as everyday clothes; nothing too obvious either. The style is pretty timeless in many things.

Tabletop pen and paper games is my big one. I especially like the world design aspects of it. Playing a character can be fun, but I get far more enjoyment out of running the games, writing the adventures, designing the locations ect.. Makes it so worthwhile when you see your players fully immersed and contributing themselves to your world and story.

I like singing and doing karaoke competitions at pubs (though that's been nixed for some time because of Wu Flu) I like hiking. As much as I don't like living in Portland, Oregon is a wonderful state for hikers. I'm big on horror movies and books and I play some occasional vidya

I read a lot of nonfiction and have been making cheap wine. I used to bake a lot and enjoy mechanical stuff, though the latter would generally manifest as just working on my bicycle. I used to do lots of level design in Hammer but never released anything. I've always been interested in RC aircraft but never got into it because of money, space, and tooling issues as a kid and time/airspace constraints now (also because fuck quadcopter people inflating prices and every RC store only offering drone shit) I had a brief foray into archery but didn't really like it since I got relentlessly made fun of for it online when I sought help on sighting and form. I still have a 40lb compound though and might try to get back into it since I've met someone irl who has a similarly powered recurve and a larger compound and didn't instinctively call me a nigger when archery came up, so maybe I won't get laughed off the local range

Protip hit your local thrift shop, they always have weird old books and occasional classics. I found a copy of Snow Crash at mine, best novel I ever read

I really enjoy recreational mathematics, especially three dimensional integration w/ Greene's theorm. also enjoy writing programs that can do calculations and show patterns in said calculations.
