Class was (and still is) more important to them than anything else which is why the race, and gender is another moot point.

If anything, what the devs have done is find a neat little loophole that's actually pretty clever because it allows for those sacred diversity points while also still working perfectly well within the confines of the world-building on top of also being somewhat historically accurate.

tbh the last gameplay showcase made the world seemed interesting with extra things to do. The design your land seemed fun in a magic setting and there's lots of other cool little 'magic world' things that will happen that will make this a fun game.

I hate that the developer chose this metrosexual fat Black man and the soy Frenchman sitting next to him to be present as the "Community Members" at the gameplay showcases making them the most visible fans of the game leading up to it's release.

Just wanted to get that off my chest before it comes out....
 
So how many of you are actually going play this game because you are a fan of Harry Potter or because the game looks fun, and how many of you are going to buy it just so you can post the receipt on Twitter and r/GCJ then have the game sit in your steam library?

It seems fun. I'm gonna buy it and if I manage to fix my pc, play it on launch. If not, later.
 
It seems fun, though I'm not sure the playstyle is for me. I like the world of HP even though it makes no fucking sense. I'll buy it and play it for a bit and if I really don't like it I'm returning it. But I'm guessing the inevitable mods might be more fun.

I'm actually buying it to play it because I liked Harry Potter growing up. Still do actually but I'm not a sped who makes it my whole life like other people my age do. The tranny seething over the game is just a bonus to me.
 
If it actually looked like a fun game I'd seriously consider it. I never liked Harry Potter or the people who liked it. That so many are troons now speaks a lot about the property.

That being said if this turns out to be a good game I'd consider it.

At first not many people (at least here) were really interested in the game. Moreover, I started losing faith in the game with each consecutive trailer and gameplay showcase where the cracks started to show.

To begin with, it seemed like 50% of the population in Hogwarts was a mix of latino-black-hindu population. Mind you, I wouldn't normally care if the the game was setted in 2023, but the game's story is supposed to be around XIX century, so it really breaks my immersion. The game also likes to use the Dishonoured fashion style where almost all women are wearing pants. I repeat, I wouldn't care but the game is supposed to be about a british school in the Edwardian/victorian times, so it doesn't really feel genuine, the environment ends up looking like californians with bad accents cosplaying in a plató.

Even ignoring the statements above, the gameplay itself also feels a bit off. The combat mechanics looks ver arcadey and stiff, like all the spell just auto aim to your enemies and you can just win by spamming "wow" buttons. In a positive note, at least the castle looks kinda nice and they just didn't limited the game to just Hogwarts but also Hogsmeade village and the surroundings.

My last concern is the game studio's background. As far as I know, until this game, they have only worked in Disney tie-in games and other obscure cash-grab AA games. So my expectations are really low.

I hope to be wrong but I got this feeling that many people who bought this game to troll trannies, will find themselves scammed when they find out the game is actually soy-filled to the brim.

I have a copy of JH Speke Journal of the discovery of the source of the nile. It was written 1863. One of the interesting things he mentions is the practice of Britain sending the children of native elites within the colonies to prestigious schools in Britain. Specifically he talks about african chiefs having their sons go to schools like Eton and them going on to Oxford and Cambridge.
 
Buying something just to trigger the libs is equally as gay as buying something to just support trans rights. That being said the game will probably be a fun but buggy mess at launch, as most modern games are.

I'm going to play it because I liked the movies growing up, and I always thought the source material would lend itself well to this genre of videogame. I also think what I've seen so far looks pretty good granted the rest of it could be shit.
 
The troons are already screeching, me buying the game or not will make no difference at this point. One more sale is not going to be owning anyone. So my intention is to wait and see if the game's a shitshow like 2077, and if it turns out to have good word of mouth I'll get it. Doing a wizard school Skyrim seems pretty cool to me, I do find the world interesting even if the stories fell flat to me.

Personally I'm buying it because of all the posts I made on troon forums saying I don't even like the franchise and I'm buying it purely to support the terf agenda, so now I'm obligated as an honest man.

If I had the money I’d buy it atp because it genuinely looks fun to fuck around in. I don’t know much about HP, but I knew nothing about Elder Scrolls before Oblivion sold itself to me with mods and open world potential. Troon suicide watches are just cherries.

I was gonna pirate, but I’ll have to wait an eternity now with Denuvo.

I think I'll be going with option 3: not buying it because it doesn't look like a game that would appeal to me.

Same here. I bought Heartbeat after the controversy with the dev's openly TERF girlfriend cause it looked like the type of cutesy RPG with nice art that appeals to me, but I've never actually cared about Harry potter. However, I will definitely enjoy seeing all the coping and seething that will happen if the game has good sales.
