Homestar Runner - hai guoys

  • Happy Easter!
New sbemail today. The joke is it's 100% legit (and apparently from a Trogdor backer's question).
Nice. It delivered many a sensible chuckle and a gut-buster or two.
why the fuck did I forget TMBG did work on the site too, on more than 3 different occasions no less.

God damn my brain is decaying
Possibly your brain was damaged and you were permanently traumatized by Nick Bate being a fan of both. If there is anything I hate that motherfucker for other than his heinous crimes, for which he is likely to die in his decades-long prison sentence, it is the fact he defiled both these fandoms just by existing.

The Homestar and Marzipan part was the hardest I've laughed in a long time (partially because my parents were in the same sort of situation)

You have no idea how much I hate the fact he enjoyed both things, thankfully it didn't ruin my love for the site but I still get disgusted when thinking about it.

the hrwiki appears to be completely dead. quite surprisng to see it completely gone considering how much work was put into it. even the chapman brothers used the site as reference material. over the last few years it has slowly been less and less accessible and now it doesnt appear to be accessible at all, no backup or archive is forthcoming.

Does anyone else remember the Telltale video game? Back before they went all in on choices matter and walking simulators.

i foolishly bought all of them when they came out and did not have any experience with adventure games at the time so when i got to the first moon logic puzzle i quit the game and never played the rest of them. have no idea if i can even access those copies now good news i just downloaded them from my telltale acct, holy shit the entire 1st episode is less than 100 mb. would not mind playing through them just to see the story and the characters. at least there are the new games the brothers are working on.

I got one of the SBCGAP when they had it free for a week early on, and a wii I got from a relative had another one on it
they seem nice enough but I have no patience for point-and-click adventures

I'm so glad I didn't spend over $200 for a grody used one off ebay.

I'm glad I sold my old one for $200.

If they restock I'll probably pick one up, especially if they made the voice box actually accessible without sewing this time.
The Strong Bad one they released a few years back has an accessible vocabulator box. While I don't see an obvious access point on the Cheat from the photos, from the description:
When you kick it it makes one of six sounds—all four from the original along with two new clips—from a removable voice box. (Requires three included AG13/LR44 button cell batteries.)
