There's this one scene from Pokemon X and Y where this ancient guy is finally reunited with his long lost Pokemon due to reasons I simply cannot recall, but the fact that there's still some site out there that refuses to give into, and even calls out, the enshitification of the internet gives me some hope. It's even better that it's Homestar Runner, true to form, unfettered by Flash being deprecated.
I think it's the fact that this is a labor of love that's getting to me. This affects me on a level I didn't know I still had anymore.
