There still are, amazon has them.
I would love to archive stuff like that, I have mostly been fixated on gun related content as the uptick in these honeypots are most likely related to the biden admin trying to crack down on this stuff.

It is entirely odd how they DIRECTLY advertise multiple felonies, from a "operation" standpoint you'd want this stuff to be somewhat believable. The amount of posts that are copy and paste like this is just odd. Like I said, sure some of these are scams but it'd be interesting to see the data on what's a scam, what's real, and what's a honeypot.
Purple Drank is so incredibly weak from a pharmacological perspective, I don't understand why people even bother with it. Promethazine is an antipsychotic. It was just repurposed as an antiemetic/antihistamine since it's potency as an antipsychotic was shit once they came out with better molecules. It has the same risks of other antipsychotics as well, namely Tardive Dyskinesia (you develop ticks, twitches, and involuntary movements that don't go away, even when you stop taking the medication) and Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome which can be fatal. Another fun potential adverse effect which you don't see with most other antipsychotics is bone marrow suppression. Honestly, it shouldn't even be used for what it was repurposed for, we have far better meds for these indications without the risk of vicious adverse effects. Anyone that uses this crap recreationally deserves what they get.
I used to have a chemist acquaintance and I have no idea if he was just bragging or bullshitting me but he told me basically most of the juicy, illegal stuff is actually pretty low level stuff any student can do with the right equipment. That's apparently the biggest problem, the right equipment and getting the raw materials.
He is telling the truth. The equipment wouldn't be hard to get, but the raw ingredients, now that is the sticking point. The synthesis pathway for anything you could possibly want has been printed in a journal of chemistry or pharmacology somewhere and could easily be done by a second year chemistry student. The only issue is that the DEA also knows about the common synthesis pathways and has a chokehold on the chemicals needed to utilize them. So, most of the time, you couldn't get the needed chemicals to save your life.
Your best bet these days is to look through the historical journals, starting from about the 1920's up until the 1960's. It really helps if you can read German since the Germans published an unbelievable volume of articles regarding speculative pharmacology between the 1920's and the mid 1940's. All those undetectable steroids they used in baseball in the 90's and 2000's? Taken from old German research articles in steroid synthesis. The synthetic pot like K2, spice, etc... that hit in the early 21st century? Taken from old research articles on the various compounds used to elucidate the cannabinoid system. MDMA? Bath salts? Again, both were from old research articles on chemical compound synthesis. More has been forgotten about various families of chemical synthesis that have pharmacological effects, or old pharmaceuticals no one bothered to ever develop, than the totality of illicit drugs and medications that are currently on the market. It's all been published and forgotten about. I guarantee there is still stuff in the archives that someone could use to start the next major drug trend 10x over.
not most. plant based drugs like cocaine, heroin, thc, LSD, those are all very difficult to synthesize from scratch, if not outright impossible.
Actually LSD is fairly easy to synthesize.
Below is a total synthesis pathway, so basically "from scratch", so to speak. Starting with hydrolyzed ergotamine for the lysergic acid makes it much, much easier, as you can see below, it makes it literally reduces the complexity to one synthetic step with some very simple and common reagents, but the total synthesis below is not unreasonable:
