Horrible yet uncanceled - Shows that Just. Don't. Stop.

I literally did not know they were still making Survivor, I didn't know Naruto was still going either, the only shonen Anime I'm paying attention to now is One Piece, and I'm behind on that.

Honey Boo Boo and most of those shows on TLC anyone? Heck, TLC should be taken off... or at least renamed since the only thing I learn is how fucked up society is... and wedding planning...

Excused. Most dating shows are pretty terrible though.

I remember how much people made fun of Big Brother the first time it was on in 2000. I remember Daily Show tearing it a new one at least once a week. I remember it was such a ratings disaster, CBS was trying to beg one of the contestants to leave so they could replace them with a younger, more attractive housemate. However, this was back when Big Brother had people of all ages on the show, young and middle aged, and its not a t&a fest like it is today.

For me, I'll say Family Guy. I haven't seen any of its episodes for a long time. Pretty much gave up the show after seeing the episodes where Meg became a born-again Christian and Brian legalized marijuana. I didn't like the former due to finding it somewhat offensive to my own beliefs though I only saw it once and I did find the episode to be boring some maybe the offensive thing is just my way of justifying why I don't like it. The latter, I dislike due to the fact that Brian pretty much pulled a boring music number while Peter and Carter's antics to criminalize marijuana was unfunny. The only good last episode of that show I saw was the one where Quagmire killed his sister's fiancee due to the fact that the guy was a complete abusive monster, though I find Quagmire's hatred of Brian to be just completely stupid.

Glee. In fact, I think pretty much most things on television are terrible.

Pokeymans.

There, I said it. Like, seriously, they've exhausted every possible plot structure and character archetype within the universe framework provided by the gaems.

I remember Moviebob said something like, "For everybody that complains about Pokemon, Ash Didn't Grow Up. You Did." It's not like the show was anything other than a glorified commercial for the gaems and TCG in the first place. It's a business model that's worked for Nintendo for the last, what, 15 years now?

Doesn't mean I can't rag on it, though. I really, really want to believe the Ash coma theory is correct so the show would have some hidden meaning beyond serial, low-budget commercials for vidya. (Don't get me wrong, the gaems are awesome.)
Yeah the Pokemon anime has gotten really stupid since Johto and now they ditched Brock for some Brock wannabe

South Park isn't particularly funny anymore, and it's mostly gross toilet humour that's just disgusting. I also think that The Biggest Loser should be taken off of the air, because I get really tired of watching about an hour of morbidly obese people having interpersonal conflict because one cast member for that season decided to be a total bitch and just make everyone miserable. (I also hate most reality shows, and most sitcoms, but find that I can't get enough of shows like Bones, and Numb3rs)

Actually, they bought Brock back for the Gen 3-Gen 4 series... then replaced him again. The most recent series has actually been an improvement - lots of nods to the old series, Team Rocket being competent (for a while, anyway), some decent animation. Ash is still a prat, though.

Black and White was an improvement, but they regressed on Ash's character development. And had him go back to being a rookie.

They always have him start back from the beginning. Except for Pikachu. Sort of. Pikachu should be level 100 but it'll get it's ass kicked by random Pokemon because Ash isn't allowed to be Pokemon League Champion ever.

Honestly I gave up early in the Johto series. Way too damn much filler in between anything that actually has to do with the games. Not to mention the writers or whoever the fuck decided to abandon the entire GS Ball plot after, what, a year of setting it up? Just so they could have an awful movie featuring Celebi and Suicune.

Here's a spoiler:

At the start of the Black & White series, Ash's Pikachu (which should be level 80 or something) got defeated by a less than Level 10 Snivy.

Eh, I'm okay with the anime, I just watch it to pass the time.

I was so pissed when One Life To Live came back from the dead, to be shown on the internet. This Summer, Oprah's channel is showing the online episodes and mom and I tried watching them. It's like, the writers brought back the most asshole of the assholeist characters. I mean that show was full of assholes and terrible actors, but the writers are just torturing us.

As long as the world has teenage theater kids who claim to love The Beatles because they saw Across the Universe once and that Rocky Horror Picture Show was amazing despite never seeing it Glee will never be cancelled.

I was a Senior in High School when Across the Universe came out. I was into the Beatles since I was 12. I am a huge Beatles fan. I didn't like people claiming how much they loved the Beatles, when years ago they singled me out and made fun of me for listening to them. Hell, half of the songs in "Across the Universe" aren't even the Beatles' best, and if they were the best, they weren't covered right. And I saw Rocky Horror Picture show. So fucking funny. And then I found out Glee was doing it. For a show that claims to be a gay-friendly show, they pretty much handwaved someone bowing out of playing one of the best characters ever (I love Frank N Furter) because he's a "tranny." And they give it to a girl.

It reminds me of my chorus in high school. I work my ass off, taking voice lessons, and my singing voice dramatically improving, and constantly practicing for auditions, and I'm surrounded by a shitload of Rachel Berrys who always get the solo because the chorus teacher put them on a pedestal. I can't watch a show with a protagonist that I automatically hate.

My mom loved OLTL. If what you say is true, she is gonna be so disappointed.
