How can communist mentality be reversed?

My country is filled up with honest to god, self-proclaimed communists that simp for China and North Korea. Even the normies blame everything on capitalism and have a "fuck over 'the man'" mentality.
This is because the school system is filled with shameless political activists that spread their bullshit since the cold war, thanks to soviet interference and "educational" pioneers like Paulo Freire.
The country will absolutely never go anywhere until this mentality rots in hell and people have to take responsibility for their own actions.

Before you laugh and say "sucks to be you, lol", I am convinced this shit is bound to happen to every modern country. It's too big a wave, too long in the making, to stop.

So I'd like to brainstorm ideas on how to deal with this.

I don't know what that breaking point will be. Will it be the formal establishment of an Emirate within Europe? Will it be a "first world" economy going bankrupt due to the infinite gibs being spent on economic dead weight with no foreign aid being offered from former recipients of support?

Maybe its too late altogether. I've no idea. The current "mind world" of a not insignificant part of the devloped/more developed world is toxic and nurtures passivity and dissent within the community.

This is pretty much exactly it. You can't have conservatives if they have nothing to conserve.

Modern society offers people a shit sandwich. This is what the shit sandwich consists of:

• Stagnant wages for increasingly difficult and shitty work, or, alternately, administrative make-work that serves no purpose.
• No upward class mobility.
• Unpayable debts established by patterns of predatory lending.
• Unaffordable healthcare.
• The complete and total breakdown of relations between the sexes.
• A rising neofeudalist aristocracy trying to force everyone else into permanent serfdom by laying claim to all productive assets.
• A political system that completely ignores the will of the electorate and starts pointless wars to enrich oligarchs.

If someone complains to you, "Hey, I'm eating a shit sandwich!", and you tell them, "There's nothing wrong, just keep eating, and eventually you'll retire with a house, a wife and kids, and a boat in the driveway", their views will almost invariably turn leftward in search of validation. Communism offers an illusory promise of wealth and dignity to the immiserated while giving them neither.

What's the best way to breed a nation of hardcore commies? Simple. Keep everyone poor and desperate. Their building resentment at society for not providing them with basic necessities in return for their labor will do the rest. Alternately, the best antidote to communism is to just pay people a living wage. Do it long enough, and their nesting impulses kick in, and they turn conservative. Happens every goddamn time.

It really is that fucking simple. Want commies? Make everyone poor. Want capitalists? Make everyone rich.

99% of prominent communist voices in modern times are just mutants who are afraid of doing an honest day's graft. They ALL see themselves playing the role of advisor when the revolution is over. Never a plumber or a farmer or even an office bot. Always an advisor.

To further illustrate this point, we can observe the primitivist/homestead types on both sides of the political coin. For right wing off-gridders, it's about getting your hands dirty, working hard and feeling satisfied at the end of the day. Ted Kaczynski would call it "going through the power process". For self-identifying 'anarcho-primitivists' (lefties) though, they envisage a life where they pick berries in the morning and then wank each other off with their feet in the afternoon. Teach them what Communism actually is, and let them live in it.

Communism is:

1. The suppression of any individual thought for the benefit of a collective
2. Harsh discipline and long work hours
3. Acknowledgement that nothing is yours and anything you own may be taken from you at any time
4. Considering artists, writers, and philosophers to be "vermin" since they don't contribute tangibly

Then again, even if they saw what Communism truly was, they probably still wouldn't learn. Communism can beat a Communist over the head with a crowbar and the Communist will still support it. That, or they'll argue that it wasn't real Communism. Needless to say, this movement of young Communists is getting nowhere. Just give them the money and encouragement they need to leave the country. We'll be better without them, and there's probably no convincing them.

Force them to study history and make them see how destructive communism is. They would have to spend years read hundreds of books on the history of the USSR, Eastern Europe, Baltic, Yugoslavia, China, Cuba, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Venezuela, Bolivia, and North Korea and learn about it’s atrocities, and how communism and socialism ruined these countries.

In addition, they must give up their cartoons, anime and video games while they are getting this mandatory education on the dangers of communism. Those 3 things are what enabled this communist worldview. Communist are manchildren living in the fantasy world, and if we pull them out of their delusions and see the real world history for what it is, maybe then they wouldn’t wearing a Che Guevara T-shirt everywhere

It's very easy to allow a country to slip to a degenerate form of government like communism. It's not so easy to undo this once you've had enough of a "taste".

The problem is really only the end goal of Communism is what matters, so there's enormous variety in ideology on how to get to the phase of socialism and then a Communist society. China won't work because from their ideological perspective, "socialism with Chinese characteristics" is the intermediate step towards Communism. I don't even know if NK still references socialism or Communism in its ideology.

Also avoid falling into easy traps like misunderstanding the labor theory of value or the distinction between personal and private property. These are very important to keep in mind especially when bringing up the Soviet Union.

A good question is to ask them whether they support forced collectivization of agriculture. No matter which way they answer, there's at least one period in Communist history in which they'd be arrested or shot.

I'm going to assume you are talking to a younger crowd and the best answer I've found is education and I mean serious education on your part. Many young people only see the carrots and never see the sticks. Most people are straight up fucking retarded and get all of their opinions from TikTok Instagram, Youtube and some (God forbid) kiwifarms. People will form entire world views with from information filtered from phone screens and what ever brand of grifter they look at.

This provides a distinct advantage for someone in your position. Once day this woman was spouting about how great Marx and communism was and I decided on a whim to just start reading. First Marx, then historical accounts of soviet dissidents, then of communism in china and in the rest of south east Asia. This took me several months. Then we had a conversation that lead in to politics. We went back and forth for a long ass time and every shitty Tiktok and instagram real argument was easily dismissed. I wasn't an asshole about it, but when she would say shit like "The USSR was progressive and gave women rights" I responded with "That is true, the USSR did place women into positions of power, but they also sent thousands of mothers to jail for trying to steal food for their children, in addition here is some reading on the actions of the NKVD and what Beria and the top brass did to women" We went back and forth on this in a very civil manner many times, but ultimately everything she was (environmentalist, Womens rights, lenient prison sentences) were completely incompatible and she no longer called herself a commie.

Really when it comes to convincing people of anything, all you can do is be as educated as you can be, deliver your information in a calm and respectful manner and realize that only some people have the ability to be convinced. If they get angry, defensive, unreasonable, just go "Okay, we disagree, here is every thing ive read or studied that lead me to this conclusion" What convinced the girl in this particular instance is she happened to be Cambodian. Her parents never talked about why they emigrated to the US. I could have been a real asshole, obviously, but instead I just calmly asked her if she knew anything about communism in Cambodia and she said no. So I gave her some reading and she changed her tune really quick. You can't be prepared for every situation, but we you are prepared and knowledge able, more opportunities present themselves
