yep, browsing ED years ago. Not sure exactly when, but I think it might have been in the lull after Bob's death. Started with the main article, then saw there were a bunch of sub-articles. I thought that the entire thing was all very autistic. Then I followed the crumbs of autism back here. :heart-full:

Fuckin' a, it must've been via ED a decade ago.

I was bored at work one time and I found something about Chris while mindlessly browsing the web (too many years ago, can't remember exactly what it was)

I caught up with the CWCki at the tail end of the Calling Out Saga; so I've been around since the second half of 2011.

Just in time to see the massive dip in quality content from Chris, no less, but I stayed for the community here (even though I just lurked up until now)

Some time around '09. I like listening to prank calls and I like listening to really long recordings while driving. I found the Kacey's Father Call and got hooked.

I heard about him years ago- probably 2011/12- when I used to read ED. Would click random article and he would pop up. The page was so long I couldn't be arsed and was more interested in shock sites and stuff (I'm sure most people had that phase), so I'd just skip it.

Then Sachumo's video came out and I thought fuck it and watched it. Pretty sure I was high at the time so Chris blew my mind.

Now I'm here.

Saw CWC's Future Message on Youtube in late 2007, except it had been reposted by someone with the title "Homophobic Redneck Bible Bashes" or something similar. Was disappointed when it became clear it was some rambling cretin and not a frothing Fred Phelps wannabe, so didn't watch past the first minute.

Discovered him proper the following summer when a FB friend posted the same video under yet another title and I realised he must be internet famous so read up on him and started following his antics just in time for Sonichu 8.

This story might just derail this whole thread, but who cares? I guess I'm dynastia now.

Was rewatching an old enter vid in 2015 and heard him say "chris chan" (Autism speaks vid, btw). I googled him then and there and was baffled by the amount of content. I quickly found the documentary made by @spylobster and watched it 10 times over the next week. I was initially taking on the position of a white knight (pity/fear) before going into more detail with the CWCki over the next year (skimming through random pages, laughing at memorable moments, etc). I do tell people about chris when they want to do something really stupid online, and the stories usually sway them away from their eventual downfall. Chris is honestly one of the most interesting case studies that I've ever looked into.

So kids, just remember: Whenever you want to do something incredibly stupid online, just remember two things: 1. Nobody gives a fuck, and 2. If things go badly, you'll end up like Chris.

The :autism: heard round the world in late 2014, when that video surfaced showing Chris mace the yellow shirt guy.

I was like, is that an old woman? It was so wtf odd that I found the CWCki and here I've been ever since

Ironically I found out about ED thru Tom Preston way back when they were going after him, way back when he was still doing the "CattyN" thing, and I eventually followed the bread crumbs that led me to Chris.

So in short a manchild sperg led me to another manchild sperg.
