So based on similar threads on other forums, what are your most recent misadventures in vidya/tabletop land?

For me it was over at FUMBBL, I entered a tournament with my Human team, and drew against an Orc team of similar value in the first leg. First half things went almost ok, but the Orcs managed to KO a player and score a point on the last turn.

The second Half however, was a complete disaster. The first turn the Orcs managed to completely deck most of my players, and those that were still standing were double marked, Over the next few turns the dice rolls were against me, and nearly every hit against me scored an armor break, and oftentimes a KO. Eventually I was down to 5 players on the pitch and down 0-2. Then my Orge got punched in the face and died. A 140k cost player (you start with 1000k) was exterminated, and the apothecary reoroll gave the same result, so no saving him. Then the same happened to bog standard lineman (50k). Then a third lineman took a cripping injury.

After they scored again, I only had 2 players left to place on the field against their 10. I weakly rolled against his one player in rage, knocked him over to no effect, and then ended my final turn. I not only was eliminated from the tournament in the first leg, but the team was essentially destroyed.

I rolled a critical failure and actually threw the firebomb backwards and it exploded in my face. I was on fire for two rounds.

This happened twice during the same fight.

Tank was a flake who couldn't hold aggro and eventually we hit a boss too big for my hunter pet.
 
Playing Warmachine, I briefly forgot what pSorscha's Feat was, moved Skarre too close and in Sorscha's LOS, opponent popped Sorscha's feat, caught pSkarre in the effect, Sorscha charges in and gets two fully boosted damage rolls on Skarre, RIP

TL;DR got my lynchpin leader model killed in a fairly avoidable way in a game where getting your lynchpin leader model killed means automatic loss.

Played Madden 13 with my nephews because they wanted me to.

Played as the Buffalo Bills while they played the Ravens. I know very little about Football other than the basics, such as touchdowns, field goals, first downs, ect. But I had no idea what I was doing when I was picking out plays, so I just chose at random and hoped for the best.

Needless to say, they pretty much destroyed me.
 
Recently? I got crushed under some scenery in Red Faction: Guerilla after an objective blew up and squashed me. That seemed to happen a lot.

Most recently amusing one? I remember jumping over some scenery in Battlefield 4 and spontaneously dying from nothing. Did I stub my toe? Did I trip over a rock? The mystery remains unsolved.
 
In Grand Theft Auto V, I was driving a car too fast and crashed and went flying through the windshield and then another car backed over my head.
 
Some sky trainer in Pokemon X took me out. I only had my Talonflame with me, so I guess I'm partly to blame.
 
I lost couple of times during my quest to complete event mode once in Smash Bros Wii U.
 
- Got my ass kicked a few times in DOA5U in Arcade Mode on Rookie difficulty lawl
- Tried to return the library book during Day 2 in Postal 2. The return box glitched and didn't register me tossing the book in there, even though the book went deep enough inside that I couldn't retrieve it to try again. *sigh* I do have a backup save from the previous day, thankfully.
 
Playing Half-Life 2, I had to defend Alyx in Anti-Citizen One. CP kept coming in, I was getting low on ammo, and I pretty much rage-quit after getting killed. I like to say that was my most disliked part about the game. It did bring back an old memory where a stray bullet after that killed me just as the game auto-save so that mean't after reloading the auto-save, I was forever dead. Funny memory that was.
 
During a warm-up period in Counter-Strike, I flanked some dude carrying an MP5 in close quarters. I pelted him with bullets from my FAMAS, doing some good damage, and he looked around panicked, but somehow didn't notice me standing almost RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. I got confident and got ready to fire another salvo, but then he suddenly turned around really freaking rapidly and headshot'd me with like the second bullet of his own salvo. Those incongruent reaction times, man. I had to admit, that was a pretty damn good shot.
