I have an iPad that belonged to my mother in law, she was an alright person but incredibly paranoid to the point where she turned on every single security feature imaginable on her devices and then died before giving any codes or anything to her children (my spouse and SIL).
I would like to use the iPad for anything other than being a paperweight but Apple tells me that they'll only release it with a court order, which I don't have. I could get it but I wanted to ask if there's another way to bypass this gay bullshit, like jailbreaking or something, so I can use it to read my comics and shit.
you really dont unless its a really old device and you got a blue box.
And i dont give a fuck what some indian fag says on youtube, if you come back here with "actually i saw this video" i will rip your spinal cord out and make a jumprope out of it.

Lol I couldn't make it through 5 seconds of pajeets tryin to tell me to use some proprietary totally-not-gonna-steal-my-info programs to make it happen, hence asking here, the repository of gay knowledge for gays
In all honesty I was hoping a jailbreak would do it since I don't care if it ever phones home or talks to Apple ever again
if the device can be checkra1ned you can bypass the lock, but you wont be able to make phonecalls, its basically an ipod if you do, fake activation costs around 6$

Fake activation? I think I saw that referenced when I googled it but I admit I'm ignorant as fuck and didn't find anything more than that, is that part of the checkra1n process? Keeping in mind this is an iPad and thus I don't care if its local use only, no real internet to speak of

you pay for a service that fakes the apple albert activation ticket, Downsides being that you have to pay some sketchy mexican 6 bucks and the device has to be exploitable by checkra1n. its dead simple to use.
We needed some iphones to test app builds and icloud locked ones were really cheap, did a bypass on them and they work just fine still.
just shoot me a pm if ya need any help
