Whenever I search how to clean up my footwear all results are about kicks such as vans, puma, and all these shoddy brands. Unfortunately my loafers are not a pair of sneakers, I haven't used them in a long time because the smell inside is still there, I need to get rid of that shit NOW!

Maybe buy a new pair.

If you don't want to do that, there are some results for "how to clean the inside of loafers" (or similar). I personally cannot recommend any specific products.

Just pour enough rubbing alcohol into it that you can only smell the alcohol, then wait until it dries. Repeat until the nasty smell is gone.

There exists a thing called ozone sterilizer and it comes in version for shoes. Ozone is toxic, so there are some safety rules regarding ventilation in that room and such and also effects on leather. I do not have it, but one my friend does and he says it's great.

wash the innersoles & inside the shoes with a mild vinegar solution then let dry. sprinkle some of the mentioned baking soda in them overnight. baking soda is great for removing smells
