Ever since being framed for a crime I didn't commit, I started playing chess.com mostly against bots and am roughly 1100 against bots and 850 against chess.com autists. How can I up my chess game? For reference I have an IQ of 136 (formally tested).

Add me if you want to play @ jayrocker2000

Play and study some openings/theory. Then try to apply it. Pretty much it.

You can and should study opening theory so that you know the lines, but once that's all done it's not making errors and seeing mistakes done. Only done by constantly playing/practicing solving puzzles.

You don't.

I am convinced those "people" who are good at chess are just natural born freaks. You are either good at chess, or you will never be good at chess.

I have good empirical evidence of this. You ever look at one of those chess clubs? Yeah, that's what I thought. Case closed.

Stop playing bots, they are too strong and aren't good at playing like humans at a human level. They will do shit like play 10 very strong moves in a row then make an obvious mistake like give a piece away on the next move for nothing. That won't make you get better.

Play humans around your own levels. Do puzzles. Learn the strategy behind a couple of openings you like.
