I find it easiest to just fall down the rabbit hole on featured content lolcows since it's often someone I know little to nothing about.
When I first joined KiwiFarms I actually hadn't followed any lolcow stuff since the early late 00's-2010's where I learned about Chris-chan originally from Encyclopedia Dramatica and followed his antics in those prime years. I actually joined KiwiFarms originally for the more interest sections where I knew I wouldn't have to deal with the kind of modern day BS you're gonna get on other interest aggregation places (Reddit, being the prime example).
As you'll probably remember as we joined the same day, this was right around when the Ralph stuff really started to pick up and he went through his Chris-chan style prime cowdom period and I became enthralled it by it and got me to start watching lolcows again. Since then I just read up on the featured posts and always get a kick out of it - I can't stop using "no stalker child" as a personal expletive because of being exposed to old Pat so much through featured articles for example. Unlike Ralph who I at least knew existed before joining, I would have never hear of Fatrick if not for the features and boy was that a lot of content.
The lolcows keep coming, and it's easy to get invested when Null spoonfeeds them to you on the front page!
