but starting and running a business is really hard and most people aren't successful. why not try getting a job at someone else's business. at least to save up some cash to fund your business.

Okay I'll ask the obvious question, what kind of business? What industry? Do you have any sort of plan or goals or product or dream or do you literally just want to be a paperboy and see where it goes from there? Cuz if you don't have an actual plan and want to run a business, just work anywhere and work your way up the ladder, it's a hell of a lot easier as long as you have the work ethic, which you'd need either way if you want to run a business.
