How do I stop an autistic loved one from getting into sonic and being a furry?

Get them to fixate on something else instead. None of your options are that great, but some of them are probably better than being a furry.

Yeah, they’re uh... magic the gathering, legos, Warhammer, first person shooters, world of Warcraft, mythology, wwii, and if none of those work there’s anime (this could backfire). Trains is another big one too.

Autistic people usually have a hard time focusing on other things so if you get your loved one to focus on one or two things you should be fine. Try introducing them to relatively harmless hobbies like miniatures, video games, or caring for small pets (leopard geckos, birds, hamsters, that kinda thing).

Take away all the staple autist foods every time he misbehaves. Things like tendies, Hot Pockets, Mountain Dew etc. and don’t give them back for a few days. Once he learns to associate autistic behavior with starvation he’ll learn to adapt and act normal

Too many people let their kids overconsume shit like Mountain Dew. That's how your kid ends up either obese or having a sugar and caffeine problem.
