do you have to specify covid for a sick day? cant you just tell your supervisor you feel like you have the flu or whatever? i dont think i have ever had them ask for proof that im sick.

I’m trying to use ~10 sick days and given how they’ve fucked certain people around there would be a nice poetry to it being Covid. My employee agreement specifies that they can ask for doctor verification after 3 days missed so I’m going to have a tele health appointment midway through and flash a faked test.

If it's one of those at-home self tests, literally any liquid works. Just don't use the buffer solution that comes in the box.
Literally run tapwater on the thing and it will come up positive.

I’ve already tried the orange juice on both the test spot and the paper display window itself. I only got the “control” to appear. I have half a dozen of these things.

Try and fail to kill yourself. When they take you to the hospital, act erratically for a week. No covid test necessary. You're welcome. ETA- On the off chance you succeed, you won't need to worry about sick days or quitting your shitty job.
