How do people find out when certain users here die?

Like already said, there's some connection off-site with users. Usually they will show mods an obit or a FB post referencing the death to verify that that person is actually dead.
 
They probably die in front of their computers still logged in and their mom comes down into the basement to deliver doritos and dew and finds them like that and types F in the chat

(And then everyone turns it into a faggot tower in their honor)
 
Your IP address also discloses whether or not the person who owns it is alive.

I'm sure we lose mostly-lurkers like me all the time and no one knows. It's okay, it's the Kiwi Farms cycle of life.
 
I feel like when our generation starts dying, we all need to have plans for our internet friends. Like have some trusted person know all your passwords/accounts and log in everywhere like "so-and-so died 3/9/20XX" so that way nobody wonders where their internet friends disappeared to.
