How does one get "Trolls Remorse"

In response (or more accurately complete bafflement) to this recent community happenings post

How does this happen?
Even shoving aside the fact he trooned out the idea of a trolls remorse whilst on the surface seeming like a case of normal human forgiveness is far more perverse than just forgiving a misunderstood party.
Im talking specifically about cases where the troll was not in any wrong to do their deeds and inspite of this come back years later to flip the tables completely and bid forgiveness on sewed up wounds.
This recent case has left me completely awe struck and I believe an explanation is in order, also. HAHAHAHA YOU WILL NEVER BE A REAL WOMAN.

When people get older (mid-late 20s) there's a biological sensation in the brain that occurs where you begin to feel an intense amount of shame over who you were when you were younger. You begin to associate things you used to do with a great deal of disdain and begin associating it with childishness. This is primarily where trolls remorse comes from. C.S. Lewis actually wrote about this.

This is roughly when children begin viewing you as a repressive or boring adult. This is also when people begin having diminished learning capabilities. Not because of any function of the brain but rather because of shame. Learning requires humility as you need to suck at something for a really long time before you become good at it. And it begins reminding you of when you were a child, you begin to resent it and stick rigidly to what you already know. In some instances this is a strength (people begin reinforcing their existing skills more and more) but most of the time this is a weakness (people begin not learning new skills). As C.S. Lewis points out this is actually just an extension of a childlike mindset and not actually "becoming more adult". It is only through embracing what you were that you fully become what you were meant to be. Only a foolish adult is concerned with becoming more mature when they're already an adult. They should be more concerned with actually applying what they have learned on their journey.

What's ironic about leftists is when this happens to them is they often associate maturing and becoming more adult with superficial feelings. Like temporary happiness they get from the love bombing given to them when they troon out. Attention seeking behavior is actually very childish and it's typically the mark of an adult to care less about what others want or like. To quote Romans 1:22
