I can definitely still enjoy the earlier sagas, especially before Bob's death. Regardless of how horrid Chris has become, I think my mind can stop thinking about modern Chris long enough to have an innocent laugh at an autistic manchild. In fact, I'd love to be able to trick my mind into thinking that Chris left the internet after Bob's death, that it all ended there, but that's just wrong. We didn't get the pleasant "Chris learned the internet wasn't his place" or "Chris toned himself down" ending, and all throughout the past sagas, you see little things that hint all too well of the future. It's sad. I'm sad.

Chris became a horrorcow to me pretty early on. I've always believed that you can tell a lot about someone based on the way they treat animals, because animals can't usually fight back. I'm not in Peta or anything, but neglecting his dogs and cats was a really bad sign. He was competent enough to know how to take care of them, but didn't care. I think he had a special place for Patti simply because she was the childhood pet and was thus a connection to his youth, before things got really bad. Fuck there's a horse stable near my house and a kid with down syndrome takes care of the horses, doing stuff like combing them, shoveling their shit, feeding them, bathing them, etc. Other people check his work I'm sure but still, even a retard can take care of them. Chris just doesn't give a shit. You could hear the beagles howling in despair as Chris rambled to sissy hypno.

yeah same here, when I first learned of him I figured it was some kind of work like the freakout kid who shoved remotes up his ass. then figured out he was just some sex pest tard creep who did stupid shit.

Bob was a well educated man, but he was from a different generation where I don't think he could grasp or understand those issues. Barb never came across as being on Bob's level intellectually, seems to have had mental health issues of her own, so she wasn't going to offer Chris much help either.

Do we know whether Borb ever explored any of the options presented for Christ, or whether they rejected them out of hand? I've always thought that I could understand an old guy's knee jerk reaction to special ed, but he should have pushed through that hesitancy and pride for the sake of his kid.

Chris is a textbook example as to why elderly men and women should not reproduce and have children together. There’s always going to be some issues with sperm quality and egg quality as one ages. Or maybe Barb drank and smoked heavily while she was pregnant with Chris.
I wasn’t surprised at this whole incest thing at all. Sooner or later he was going to act on his fantasies and dreams of wanting to sleep with his mother. He always had some degree of creeper tendencies, and he could have sexually assaulted anyone. I doubt he even feels remorse for what he did. Imagine having the sex drive of a teenage or 20’s male while possessing the mind of a child and the physical body of a man in his late 30’s. The only times he ever felt fear was either he was afraid of Bob or afraid of being punished by authorities. Maybe this time he would realize that he would have to pay for his mistakes and realizes that there won’t be any toys waiting for him once he finishes his sentence in prison or some institution.
Bob tried his best to be a father while Barb coddled, enabled and groomed him. His high functioning autism would have meant that he could have adapted to society and become a normal person but he has to learn it the hard way.
