How fast does everyone type?

When I did call center work I was peaking at about 65wpm, but it's probably a lot slower now.

Last I checked on a typing program, 84 wpm.

EDIT: just checked again, clocked me at 96.

I just checked on 10fastfingers.com and it gave me 113 wpm, or 98.68th percentile of users. I did some diction for my client not long ago and last week he asked to see exactly how fast I could type. So I opened a Notepad document and just typed out my communications to him fast enough to carry on a conversation.

but sometimes i have to delete a LOT and retype shit because sometimes i'm just not being so accurate.

if i were to not revise my posts at all nowadays, i'd get banned so fast for breaking the world record of shitposting.

Part of my dictation speed comes from also being able to really quickly tell when I fuck up and retype it. I can usually immediately tell that my fingers hit the wrong key or accidentally landed in between and pressed two at a time and I go straight for the backspace like it were another keystroke. Plus, you know, I'm looking at the screen most of the time and I can see something that doesn't look right.

Last time I did a test it was 123 wpm. I went for a job interview one time where they made me do a typing test. Apparently I blew their record out of the water, teehee...
