I don't know who the fuck the middle option is and the next tier up is a fucking roidhead. Someone help me.
I guess the "middle option" would be Tucker Carlson? He seems to have a belly though, and his neck is not that of a thin person.

So invent your option, like, Abraham Lincoln.

I'm getting up there in years, but the activities I love require a certain level of fitness to do, so I'm in pretty good shape
for an old fart.

I don't know who these people are, but I am like Jason Statham in the first Transporter, only skinnier.

You know what's weird? I honestly don't know. I've been doing kettlebell exercises semi-consistently for a couple years now, and I've seen huge relative improvement in that time... but I think I'm probably still a weak little bitch by any objective standard and I'm not sure how that's possible.

Not as much as I used to be, unfortunatly!

I was a cardio bunny for years and used to run half-marathons but eventually got into lifting weights which I loved doing. Health shit and other shit got in the way so I'm slowly working my way back up.
My bike is my main form of transportation though, so even without extra workouts I get good cardio going to work and running errands.

Transportative cycling does little for cardio in my experience. It tends to be stop-start and you don't want to be sweating like a bastard at your destination.

Leisurely cycling is still good for the mind though. Huberman talks about the importance of optic flow; just propelling yourself forward in someway has theraputic effects.

I have 503 DOTS at a BW of 95 kg. I used to be able to run a sub-6 minute mile (05:38) but my current mile time is 06:43 (and I'm puffing hard at the end).

I feel above average but I also bet some of you on here would smoke me.

Something I've noticed as well.
I think in my case it's just that my gym routine is a bit too specific so I have decent fitness in certain activities but less so in others. So just need to vary things up a bit, but in my case I hit the gym for a hour or two after work with a focus on cardio/weight loss so it's often just easier to auto-pilot myself into the gym after work, do my routine and then go home and crash.
