How hard is it to get an on-site machinist or CNC machinist job in America if you're Canadian?

I've been working as a machinist for some time but the work here is pretty much dead. I did get lucky with a temporary job working for a firm that goes on site to plants during their shutdown to do repairs, and they liked me, but now shutdowns are over work has dried up until the spring.

But I did well there and can probably get a letter of reference, and I'm a little more confident in work that has me travel then I was before. Would it be possible to find work in the states, and how would I get about finding it?

I have no idea if there are legal or beurocratic hurdles but I've seen Columbians and Laotians and Koreans who barely know English let alone Mazatrol, if you move to the rust belt you should be fine. You'll also want to kill yourself because you'll be living in the rust belt, but you'll be able to find a job.

Tons of CNC work in the rust belt cities, especially Detroit & Pittsburgh. Probably Cleveland & Cincy too I would imagine. Low cost of living, not sure about pay though. A lot of the manufacturing has shifted out of core cities but they have large metro areas so you can just work and live in the suburbs.

And Pittsburgh is awesome too if you've never been there. Great town.

Try the prairie provinces, they have lots of demand for machinists and the trades are smart enough to know that pajeets are useless and shouldn't be hired to do any task requiring skill or intelligence. Plus the cost of living isn't as absurd as Eastern provinces and they all vote right wing and hate Trudeau and the liberals with a passion.

I'm in Alberta and it seems half of Ontario took that advice as it is really hard to find work here unless you have connections or know the secret access

Alberta is a slightly different beast then Saskatchewan or Manitoba. Its very money rich so of course all the greedy immigrants rush to Alberta to try and make money while paying less for living. Saskatchewan and Manitoba still have this problem but not to the same extent because they aren't as rich as Alberta. There economies are also not as dependant on oil. Poojeets will infest every province but trust me its a lot better to live in the Prairies then a liberal shithole like Ontario. Every province that voted for that faggot Trudeau deserves to suffer for what they brought on Canada.
