if not entirely he's at least part of the reason why I'm at college and doing work study. I had a lot of trouble making the transition to college but I am so determined not to be him that I forced it to happen anyway.

I find myself having thought this too. It's almost embarrassing Chris can drive and I can't, though in all fairness he does drive an automatic.champthom said:

I also can't drive, but my stated reason for it is medical issues. That might be me just making excuses though, I don't know. Or, well, I'd probably be fine if I had the medicine I need. I just can't afford to see a doctor regularly to get my prescription.

CWC inspired me to get off my ass and get a job and stop playing the blame game so much (which I didn't do often anyways, but I needed to stop entirely.) Basically he's my motivator when I have something to do and don't want to do it.

I guess it's just me, but my folks taught me how to drive when I was 13. It's kind of...strange...hearing people don't know how to drive. Then again I forget people in big cities and the UK, where public transportation and rail service is a big deal, don't really need cars to get around like we do where I live. Just culture shock I suppose.
