How little do you spend on gaming?

I too have become jaded by modern gaming. If I'm not pirating, then it's $1.99 or below, unless it's a game I REALLY want to play. And yes, a good chunk of those cheapo games are shovelware, but you'd be surprised how good some of them are.

Only thing I'm paying a lot for is the Nintendo Online Subscription but only because I really really really really really enjoy F-Zero 99, and before that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

Last game i bought was dominion 6 and before that 6 years prior dominions 5. (I pirated Dominions 4 and 3 for years)

And before that Dragons Crown on ps3. Im more interested in try before you buy and rentals but the latter isnt a thing anymore. I just dont have the time for games and the main appeal to Dominions is the mythological autism, and the fact it was mainly resigned to turn based play by email.

I honestly just cant wrap my head around playing games all of the time, yet I lament my youth when I was freely able to play my consoles whenever I wanted. Id also say that the advent of Call of Duty and its imitators totally turned me off gaming well before everything got pozzed.

I manage to get reamed like this even without bothering with anything after the mid 1990s for the most part.

Anyway, I caught something charges I omitted in earlier calculations, up to $841.16 now.
 
Maybe less than $200 a year. I only buy a game if I'm reasonably sure that I'm going to play it in the near future, as I have a big enough backlog of games as it is. I've been leaning in really hard on emulation in the last few months since getting an Android based handheld, and it's been a delight.

And I finished with $849.24 for 2024. This post is dedicated to the brave Mujahideen developers of the indie community.

Anyway, $5.53 for 2025 so far. Here's to a glorious new year!
