How long did you lurk before joining and what made you join?

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
I joined the CWCki Forum some time in 2011 I think, maybe earlier. It was the white forum with the blue accents. I remember there being an AMA with someone who worked at the Charlottesville Toys R Us (allegedly) and claimed to know Chris. I also remember Rusty Shackleford being the first forum member confirmed to have passed away. This was before Null took over, when champthom and brooklynbailiff were the lead admins.

I've been in and out of the boards on multiple accounts, but I only kept them for a few years apiece for retarded "opsec" reasons or whatever. I kind of don't care now so I'm keeping this one. Despite dumping accounts over the years, I always bought T&H status, and to my knowledge I've contributed to every major fundraiser and merch drive with only a few exceptions.

Lurked for around a day.
Joined because I wanted to be part of a large community where you can say nigger.

I lurked for about six years, starting back in 2019 (or 2018, I can't remember correctly). Finally just decided to whip up an account one day. The site has always been a fun place, so I decided it was high time I finally join in.

Lurked for a few years, but I always knew this website existed. I remember popping in a few times, looking around, before fucking off back to 4chan, and not really lurking. For a moment, I considered making an account in 2020, and I genuinely wish I did at the time before deciding to stick with 4chan. I don't know why I was hesitant in the first place. What really pushed me was after I stopped being active on 4chan, I had nowhere to go. There isn't really a place to post or discuss history, you have a tranny yelling at you for "incorrect history" or if you go on /his/, it's haploid group autism or the same few bait threads being posted over and over. After observing the historical pictures thread for some time, I decided to finally make an account so I could discuss history in peace. And it's really nice to talk about music here as well where it's not dominated by the coomers of /mu/.

Really I'm happy that I'm here, and I don't get why it took me so long.

2017, lack of an inperson social circle and /v/ wasn't cutting it anymore despite nearly 14 FUCKING years on it.

I lurked for about 8 years, ever since I got banned from literally all other social media. I don’t know why I joined. I guess I just saw Xitter and Facebook and everyone turning around and saying they were le based and pro free speech and whatever and I wanted to show my loyalty to the one place that actually let people like me share their opinions, even when it wasn’t cool.
