How long does it take for a fractured orbital lobe to heal?

lobe? or bone?
if lobe, brain or ear? (and also how did you fracture brain and or ear?)

I don't know if anyone has mentioned this in the last 80 or so pages, but just a minor correction to the headline, its "he fractured his orbit" unless one wants to specify which bone of the orbit was fractured, but there is no "lobe" involved anywhere in orbital anatomy.
A long time.

Solution
If you mean part of the eye socket, a long ass time without surgical intervention (titanium screws and other hardware).

If you mean part of the brain, it depends. You can get 30 to 40% of functionality back within a year, and maybe 70% in 50 years, and 80% in 10 years, but as you can maybe visualize from this recovery tapers off after a while. I'm still recovering from a connective tissue injury a decade ago, and while it's a little bit each year it will never be 100%.
