How many nukes would it take to draw a giant swastika on the moon?

Well first of all nukes aren't real and secondly the moon isn't real but that aside I remember reading about how nukes canonically distribute concussive force laterally more than anything which makes for wide but shallow areas of affect which would in turn increase the size of the canvas you'd need so you're probably better off doing it on Earth, probably in a relatively uniform desert area like the levant.

Why would you use nukes to draw with? Nukes are explody, not drawy
This is what I was going to say. A nuke makes a round crater, so that's how wide your "brush" is going to be, and forget about crisp corners. Try making a swastika with dots from a bingo dauber and you'll see the problem.

Consider a couple of rovers with plows instead. Remember the Alyeska penis last year?

The resort ended up helicoptering a whole bunch of staff up there to rub it out, but they had tourist dollars to worry about. Earth as a whole is a captive audience.
