How much are you supposed to tip your sandwich artist at Subway?

Fuck, I once had this one bitch try to charge me extra for more than three hot banana peppers.

This is why I prefer Publix subs, they don't ask questions when I tell them to put 3 handfuls of banana peppers on my sub.

The only fast food place I tip is Sonic because they bring the food to the car. Bigger tip if they do it on roller skates/blades. (As an aside, funniest thing I saw was a girl trying to empty a trash can while on roller blades -- I should have tipped her just for the entertainment).

I don't tip at Subway, but I also don't have any complicated orders or get picky about the exact amount of tomatoes or how much oil/vinegar gets put on there. If I'm a nice, laid back customer -- that ought to negate the need for a tip.

That makes more sense than the current system we have in America, where you have to bribe people to do their jobs and not bust six nuts in your salad out of spite.
